Congrats Bulldogs. Going in I didn't give the Bears much of a chance, but they did hang around for 3 1/2 quarters.  You all have a fine team, and showed great sportsmanship on the field. Hope yall go far in the playoffs.

Bears could have thrown in the towel after Nederland went up 14-0 but they are a scrappy bunch and have battled back. Really Would have liked them to have scored on that  drive toward the end of the first half. We will see what adjustments Crouch and Neiuman install for the 2nd half.

When is the rut in SETX? I just moved back after being gone nearly 20 years and when I did live here I didn't deer hunt.  I hunt now of HWY 62 between Mauriceville and Buna in South Jasper County.

I have often wondered that as well. Could be a lot of people didn't realize he would have have to WO-S instead of TJ if his dad hadn't been transferred.

Looks like it took a while for wos to get started!

I at the game and I'm not a huge bear fan (but do want to see them do well) but the bears are playing well. They have a nice mixture of run/pass and their defense shutting png down so far.

LCM could easily be up a lot more. Had 1 td called back due to penalty and missed a fg. Near defense doing well several sack and 4 ints

Man, you have got to tone it down.  Opponents should always be respected, even if you are confident about winning.  To say we will dominate everyone on our way to state is over the top.  I share your view that our district is not very strong, but remember we took HF lightly last year and let them hang around with a chance to win it.  We have to earn it on the field.  Until then, we haven't done anything yet (in terms of district play).  Don't overlook anyone, especially HF and Silsbee.  Furthermore, do you really know how good the teams are outside of our district?  I can tell you with confidence there are several 3A teams in this state who are good enough to beat us.  I like your enthusiasm, but your projection is WAY too premature.
