  1. Bingo PAK. Let's see here, so the RB was in a cast, the WR a cast, the Safety crutched off the field. Not really much being hidden there. Oh no Stat, the big mistery is out...Not possible FBW noticed these things at the PUS last Friday. Meanwhile back in the real world, if any one of those three young men plays tonight and the FBW coaches were not prepaired because I or someone else "mis-informed" them on a MESSAGEBOARD then they are idiots.
  2. Safety Bost #26 also backup QB is out. Missed him back there after his injury early in the first Q against BH. PAKronos, you'll remember him as the kid that had the pick 6 against PAM. Big loss. Hughes is still out at RB. This after loosing Runnels back there to start the season.
  3. Bay City BlackCats, now that's a blast from the past that I haven't heard much from in a while.
  4. Would be great to get a PAM PNG double header day after Thansgiving at Reliant. Good Luck to both and let's make it happen.
  5. Nothing's easy week 2 of 6. Even the 5-6 teams are bringing it now.
  6. Lets hope that loss in week 11 set the stage for a second win streak. Well done Titans. Who's up next?
  7. What's the word on Willowridge? Thurman Thomas should be well out of High School eligibility.
  8. 6A home field automatically to higher seed in bi-district? This something new?
  9. Never saw a single comment from a coach or a post from a fan that made any excuses for the loss PNG took from PAM. Hines and the Titan Lines whooped us. This guy needs to focus on PAM and stay off the MBs.
  10. jpg, this your first game? The offense is much more diverse than what you saw tonight. Looked like tonight BF was not showing those in attendance anything for next week and they couldn't stop Shugs feet sooo.
  11. You should be very proud big bro. Young man is tuff as nails and works his tail off. He definitely epitomizes the Honor, Pride and Tradition.
  12. RJ and Mczeal both been at PN and Groves through middle school. Not like they waited till HS to move. Few years ago Walker and Halfin from HF and Hughes and Sparks from Lumb all moved as Fresh. Those are move ins. In my book if you go to 6-8 then hs you're not a move in, you came up in the system.
  13. I will say this as far as Mathews...he might mean the most to his program. The coaches above except maybe Dubois could leave and those programs would still be ok (maybe not as good, but ok). Mathews leaves Vidor and I firmly believe they go from a regular playoff contender to a doormat again.
  14. 1. Thompson - WOS State titles as DC and HC. Gold standard in the GT as far as programs. He took what he and Hooks built and added to it which is an impressive feet in itself. 2. Johnston - Newton keeps that purple Eagle machine rolling year after year. And has beaten some pretty good teams above them (WOS few years back) 3. Nueman - Nederland year in year out produces solid local teams, just can't get deep in playoffs. 4. Dubois - BC took HJ to impressive new heights and as soon as he left they dropped. He has BC as a contender again come week 12. 5. Faircloth - PNG has made playoffs as either DC or Runner up every year but one. Meaning they didn't back in with the watered down four teams making it. Just the Golden Triangle.
  15. From above: " Vidor can clinch the Division I #2 seed if Port Neches-Groves loses to Nederland or if Livingston earns the final spot. " There is no scenario where Vidor can clinch anything in Division 1. PAM and PNG are both larger than Vidor.
  16. Most of 4A is under 1000. And any of these Texas teams ahead of WOS just prooves that zero research goes into this. Also small private schools recruit sooooo.
  17. Some of that is due to the fact that WOS only has 4 district games and most of the bigger classification schools have 7 or 8. Unlike the other 4A teams in the area WOS gets zero out of scheduling the Kelly and Pope schools so it will continue to be very difficult for them to find viable week 3, 4 and 5 opponents.
  18. One mans opinion so I can give a rats you know what who or how you respond. Best team won. No argument here. Kenny Harrison is a joke. He spent more time at mid field than most of his players. He argued EVERY call like his life depended on it, but never once did I see him pull a kid a side and correct him or hold him accountable for his actions. PAM has an excellent group of football players, but unfortunately coachings gonna get em down the line. When PNGs 53 got the taunting call late the staff met him at the sideline and held him accountable for his actions. That's coaching. I don't mind the one on one trash talk at all, but when a KID spends half his night trash talking the opposing coaches and sideline players it's up to the officials 1 to call him on it (and they never did) and 2 his coaches to hold him accountable for it. Lost a lot of respect for XBox and a great talent in KV Friday Night, but that said, I was thouroughly impressed with Hines. That young MAN was professional in his mannerisms, respect of his opponent and the game and he got it done.
  19. I suppose PNG and Nederland have both scheduled WOS. We lost a non-district game this year when they threw in Livingston at the last minute, knocking us down to two pre-district games (Silsbee and GCM) so that screwed us out of our week three matchup with the Stangs. Great games the two years before and I'm sure we will get them back if available down the road. Would've loved to have seen a WOS vs PAM matchup this year. Would've benefited both teams down the road.
  20. If this happens the only real local team to be effected will be PAM who once again would be traveling back and forth to Houston on a regular basis. All other GT 5A teams would be well under the D2 cutoff so the district wouldn't change much if any.
  21. How you figure twice as many teams get in? There are 32 total 5A districts with four from each in playoffs. Thats 128 teams (64 go D1 and 64 go D2). Same was in the old 3A before. There are now 16 total districts in 4A D1 with four from each in playoffs. Thats 64. And 16 total districts in 4A D2 with four from each in playoffs. Thats 64. So 128 total playoff teams in 4A. 128 total playoff teams in 5A. Theres no additional money being made by UIL.
