Fairclothe Going off at someone in stands

We were not up 40 at the time. It was in the second quarter. 21-0. Subs played most of the second half (midway through 3rd Q on). -
Nederland 22 Fort Bend Willowridge 16/FINAL

Same. Congrats. Looking forward to the double at NRG. Plus Manvel vs Huntsville at noon. -
The QB moved in from Austin High.

So you’ve seen three games in three years where the defense couldn’t stop him on ground and you make an assessment. Go watch video and ask others about his arm strength. Ask BH about the 50 yard rope to Ceja on the run or the 30 yard pass right while rolling left. Ask Crosby if the kid can sling it? He will be a QB at UT and a game changer. And Go Dogs

Best team in R3 top to bottom. Gonna be a tough out.
-
Huntsville has the best D in Region 3. They don’t throw the ball all that well so thry may struggle taking advantage of Manvels secondary. Could be a 7-6 final in this one.
-
It actually could be the best 1st round matchup in Region 3. FBW has speed and size. They may be the best 3 seed in our Region. Read option QB could give Nederland fits. I suspect had we lost last week we’d be in a shootout versus FBW ourselves. I’m rooting for them Dogs. I want one of those second round double headers at NRG.

PNG played Tomball without Shug (QB). Took a 21-0 lead then blew it. Tomball came back and got the W. Bought all I can say.
-
Got one that wouldn’t surprise me. But Imma stay low key on it cause I don’t wanna see it happen.
-
Will Deslatte and Burt play round 1? Anyone know?
-
If Shug was the featured RB, would anyone complain that he got too many carries? Did people flip when JC got 35+ carries per game for PAM, Mosley for Ned or even Bertrand for PNG? NO, because the QB threw 10-20 passes a game so it felt like it was distributed. So PNGs featured back just so happens to be it’s QB. GET OVER IT. Shug has good vision, hits the hole quick and runs hard. Deslatte does same (injured). Conner does as well in the limited action I’ve seen, but he doesn’t have the experience that allows BF and company to be comfortable enough to get him more carries and pick up blitzes, etc. this late in season against (SF, BH and Ned) top three. Beyond that, well...Shug gets 25+ carries!

I agree Manvel and Marshall are very good teams (State Title caliber). But after the top three in that district the rest have a history of quick playoff exits. I wondered when they put out the new districts if the week in week out lack of competition would hurt Marshall, Manvel and Willowridge going forward. Guess we will find out here this week.
-
He’s got 6 games left in Purple and White.
-
The young man is the epitome of Honor, Pride and Tradition. Been so much fun watching him lead his purple brothers into battle each week. Hook’em. ps. He got any younger brothers. lol
-
Not very good. 69-0 loss to Manvel and 65-7 loss to FB Marshall also 43-22 loss to Willowridge.
-
Won’t know till around 5 today. Willowridge vs Sterling at 1pm.
-
I know Scott was out, but folks don’t forget PNG’s two biggest o-lineman (Garth and Burt) were out and been without Deslatte at RB for weeks. Here’s good news...Defense has stepped up big recently, Deslatte was in uniform could be in game next week as was Burt.
-
As stated above, Willowridge plays Sterling tomorrow. Sterling W means PNG vs Willowridge and Ned vs Sterling. Willowridge W means PNG vs Northside and Ned vs Willowridge. I’d be shocked if Sterling beat Willowridge.
-
Your Boy fought hard tonight. Give Willowridge hell next week.
-
You not expecting a rematch in playoffs?
-
Not true. It’s district record that determines playoff entrants not overall record. Pre-district means nothing. So top two just means less watered down. But it’s a moot point because there is no way in hell the UIL is going to drop a boat load of playoff games. Money talks folks.

Time to pay some Child Support Friday night!!!

Wortham was the lead back that year. Not saying makeup of teams is the same, just that situations are similar. And Long was an excellent QB, but I’ve seen them both for their entire HS careers, RJ is a better QB. More polished passer and a much bigger run threat. RJ grew up in an erra where there are more QB development camps and opportunities to become great if you have the skills. Difference is Long had a great team around him. Excellent stable of WRs. Two good backs, and a stellar line. And a stingy defense to boot. Interchange RJ and Long on that squad and PNG beats SVille.

I was about to post same thing.

Port Neches-Groves 31 Barbers Hill 14/FINAL

PNG runs a lot of read option. That being the case, the real question is not why Shug toted it 36 times, but why BH allowed him to?
