Did I mention Kolby Martin is a freshman (Cameron's little brother) and a gym rat and will run through a lot of kids this season. This freshmen class so deep!

Omg! Yes, I really thought he was the fastest kid in PA last year when he was in the 8th grade. Elijah Brooks is a tremendous football player. I swear to you he went GO GET a skill player from bmt last year from 30 yds. I saw every PA middle school home game last season and he literally knocked kids out every game except against TJ.

The defense should also be stout. Two defensive linemen are back,one speedy outstanding outside backer and the whole secondary is back with Jones and Ford switching positions. All state Lavine is back as a senior safety with Jones. Thomas took over the last season in game 3 or 4 and did a superb job. As always the defense will have to prove they can stop the run more than any team around. I like Suggs as the new coach of the panthers I just don't think they'll be prepared for what the Titans bring to the table. The game will be a great early test for the Titan defense since he loves to run the ball, the Titans will need to aware Boyd pass and play making ability (he's a guard on the basketball team) A good Thursday night game at THE BUTCH, Titans win 28-7 or 35-14

More than likely teams gonna line up to contain the run. This should be easy pickings for Lil Harrison. Who will be more prepared than the coaches son that's a qb. Not to mention Lil Kary Vencent will see time in the slot as well. This team should make a nice run this season!

PAM, a lot of talent with a dynamic one two punch at Runningback, and on Defense Secondary looking very stout. Gonna be interesting to watch what happens as the season unfolds! Still wish we played yall, wouldn't do nothing but make us better.

Well, I saw Lil Xbox on the sideline last year @the Westside game and he looked like a 7th grader.  Now if they put the Sr. back there but he's needed in the secondary.  Lavine I think is his name.  The only advantage I'll give Xbox Jr. is he's been watching game film since birth.....

85, I heard lil Kenny Ray is the truth. I heard that he had good mechanics but his only drawback is he's not as athletic as Singleton or Fisk was...

Gonna be a huge jump in competition moving from 4a to 6a for this young man. I'm starting to wonder if he can even make the rotation at Westfield, let alone start...

Not to mention putting players in D1.  Kenny Harrison is about as good as they come at getting his kids free educations.

For some reason probably the most successful in terms of winning (National Championship - LSU and Super Bowl - New England Patriots) Eric Alexander from SFA usually gets overlooked on these lists. Not just this one.

I might actually lean more towards ShanDerrick Charles over Jamaal before he got hurt. He was actually faster and had better cuts. At SMU he broke Eric Dickerson's freshman record. Sad thing he finds out he has two stress fractures in his back when lifting weights. Couldn't recover and says his back still hurts to this day. Jamaal has said multiple times his brother was better than him in high school.  

The oldheads will never accept the change. I accepted it in 2001 when it was told to my class that we would be the last class to graduate before Memorial was created, but they waited an extra yr. IMO it shoulda been 1 HS long long LONG time ago in P.A.

I'm what you'd call a football fanatic and I don't have a problem with this.  7th Grade football is fun but I don't see it as necessary.  Many boys, especially the 'late bloomers', could use a year of running, agilities, light weight training and skill-specific drills.  One less year of knocking heads might not be a bad thing.  Think of all the successful football players you've known that didn't play football until high school and some only a year or two in high school.
