This is District 12 A I standings Normangee      3 - 0 Thrall       3 - 1 Moody       1 - 2 Somerville       1 - 2 Iola       0 - 3 Somerville at Moody this coming week, it will determine the 3rd place playoff team. Normangee plays Iola, but has already locked up the district title with a win over Thrall. Thrall locked up the #2 spot with a win over Moody this week.

Updated after Week 9, there could be some Saturday games so I'll check again tomorrow morning.

Congrats to my Oilers for getting into the playoffs!  We'll just have to wait until next week to see if it's at #2 or #3 spot. I'll update my 1A playoff thread tomorrow when I wake up, I'm beat!

It's my understanding that #44 Walsh for Colmesneil did not go off in the ambulance after being carted off the field, he apparently just a had a pretty bad neck stinger.  I was very happy to hear that, he's going to be a heck of a player next year! Got an update that his X-Rays were negitive, GREAT NEWS!

Colmesneil had a player carted off the field, Bulldogs forfeit rest of game with 3:00 left in 3rd. WH - 43 Colm - 0 Final

Ok folks, here's what we've got.  This is based on Lovelady beating Hull-Daisetta this week and setting up for West Sabine & H-D in the final week of regular play.  I got this information from someone else, but I hope it helps shed some light on the situation. Point difference between the 3 teams (Max of 21 per game) West Hardin +8 WH 14 -- WS 27 -13 WH 57 -- HD 20 +21 West Sabine +13 HD -21 HD beats WS by 18 or more, then WH in as 2nd and HD 3rd & WS out. If HD beats WS by 6-17, then WH will be 2nd, WS 3rd & HD is out. If HD loses to WS, WS is 2nd, WH is 3rd & HD is out.

Better dress warm, supposed to be in the low 60's at kickoff & then get down to the mid 50's.

The only thing I disagree with is West Hardin losing in the 1st round.  Based on the information I've looked up, I think the Oilers match up pretty well with Thrall & Moody.  Time will tell.  Thanks for your predictions!

Assuming West Hardin wins against Colmesneil and ends up 2-2 in district and then this next set of events happen: If Lovelady beats Daisetta & then Daisetta beats West Sabine, the would make a 3 way tie in district.  In that scenario, Head-to-Head wouldn't apply, so what is used to determine tie breakers? Is it overall record, points scored, points against or what?

Depending on the cut-off numbers for enrollment, West Hardin & Hull-Daisetta may drop down to 1A-Div 2.  The district could be back to how it was 3 years ago: Reg IV Dist 14 Burkeville Evadale High Island Hull-Daisetta Sabine Pass West Hardin So you should include these schools in your thread, because it could look this way. Based off that & who I think is the best overall QB, I'll pick: 1.) Ridge - WH 2.) Marberry - H-D 3.) Williams - Evadale
