I'll agree with that!  Thrall was a very classy team, they could have been celebrating right away, but chose to join the Oilers at midfield.  Much respect for the Thrall players after that.  I also second raiderfan's comments on our Oilers, they played a hard fought game and kept it clean through out the whole game. I won't be around for most of the Basketball season, but I'll be at every track meet.  I'd like to go ahead a book my room in Austin please!  ;D ;D ;D

Thank you very much to everyone for your support!  ;) I'm having the Mitral Valve either repaired or replaced, don't know yet on just how severly it's damaged.  Thankfully my arteries are great, so no bypass surgery needed there. Hello all, many of you know I'm the Die-Hard Parent/Fan for my West Hardin Oilers.  Most only know me by joharr73, but my name is John Harrington.  I've had the honor of watching my two sons play for the Oilers, from the sidelines where most can't go. I'm asking for everyone to pray or whatever you do for me for Tuesday.  I'm having open heart surgery that day and could use ever bit of help I can get.  Here's the kicker, I'm only 38!  ???  Yeah, I know!  I know everything should turn out fine, but if you got a minute to spare I'd appreciate it! I'd like to see the actual yards for this game, I bet Thrall maybe had 90 yds total offense.  2nd half they may have gotten 2 1st downs, but i think it was only 1. My Oilers have nothing to hang their heads about, the only 2 scores thrall had was when given a short field.

Very physical game, several players on both teams getting dinged up. End of 3rd 7-7 still.

Good defensive game, lots of back & diffuse. WH - 0 Th - 7 Halftime Oilers get ball to start 2nd half.

WH had dumb penalties & punted.  Thrall #10 fumbled on 4th down.  Oilers ball, end of 1st.

Thrall was intercepted, then West Hardin went 3 & out.  #10 Thrall 12yd td run. WH - 0 Th - 7 6:02 in 1st.

Feels great today, but its windy.  Thrall can't complain about that. Hey Pinelandflash, the light issue has been resolved.

I'm leaving La Porte AGAIN, 2 1/2 hour drive AGAIN!!    >:( Hopefully my Oilers will focus all their frustrations on the field. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Finally got lights working, then as I'm typing they went out again.  Arrrrggggg Announcer claims it was intentional this time, 25 mins till kickoff. It's Freaking cold out here though.

Present & accounted for, however we're having power issues, game delayed until 8 pm.

3 out 5 playoff prediction sites are calling for the Oilers to Win by double digits or more & the other 2 are saying Thrall by 7 or less. Just like any game, if the Oilers come out and play like they have for most of the season, then there isn't any reason for us not to win.  Thrall runs a spread offense and likes to throw a lot, but their QB will pull it down and run a lot too.  From what I've gathered their like the Oilers were when Coach Westfall ran the spread with Tyler Copeland, shut down the QB & you can win. I wont say a score, but going with the Oilers by 10+ points and that number will be much higher if our ball hawking defense shows up to play.

Well I hope he isnt wrong on every game, he's got my West Hardin Oilers winning by 20!  ;D
