HD fumbled opening drive.  WH Dorion 50yd TD run. WH - 7 HD - 0 9:41 left in 1st

I'm present & ready.  20 mins till game time.

I sure hope so, lets ZERO injuries and good sportsmanship for all!

I guess West Sabine is in for a long night!

Of course, if your vision is blurry, you may want someone proof read before submitting a comment!  ;) Oh & nicely written comment HDBobcats9!

On the field these players hate each other, but after the game they are friends. All these men were my friends until we took the field on friday night. Also these WH men listed above are some of the best men you will ever meet, I am friends with most of them today. Secondly, I did live in Batson & then moved to La Porte.  Third, every team hates the other opponent during the game, how is that different just for WH vs HD. Fourth, as usual, you are all over the place in your comments.  Bring it down a little, no need to get worked up over a sports forum comment. Finally, you still have not answered the question about the coaches, so lets hear your take on why YOU think their great.  Since I wasn't speaking for you and all.

They should worry about winning games more than a high school's mascot.  Just plain stupid!

[/quote]  Most coaches do care about their players, but I've seen a few that look like their doing it just for the power or the stipend pay.  As far as what makes a great coach; the ability to get players to improve and effective changes on the fly when things go wrong, winning and the ability to get more kids to come out for athletics.  I've been witness to students not wanting to play a sport just because of who the coach was. That could be answered with multiple comments, I suppose it depends on the level of the program.  1A has a totally different set issues to work with than say a 4 or 5A program.

[/quote] The Tigers will have to play a very clean, mistake free game to compete with the Lions.  Also, if you get to see any film you'll know what I'm fixing to say.  You will have to get on #28 quickly, if he gets any open field, he's like a deer.  Never seen a high school player jump over as many people as at our game.  Also, you gotta keep QB #5 contained, tall & very fast.  Pound the rock and have clock control. Now for the Lions to win.  Utilize all the weapons you have, great mix of runners & receivers.  Gang tackle #32, he's a huge RB.  He carried 4 of our guys into the endzone.  The Tigers QB #5 is like a Vick or Young in college, very athletic & fast, but make him beat you with his arm, because his feet will tear you up.  Receivers are deceptively fast, they'll burn you if your not carefull. Good luck to both teams, I hope you both come out injury free.  If my Oilers were'nt playing, I'd consider driving up for this one.

And I'll answer Football's question about the coaching staff too.  Coaches Henry & Pickens both came over from Hull-Daisetta for last years season where they had spent a few years coaching the Bobcats before us.  There is some good knowledge of the coaches and respect from the Bobcat community.  I personally dont know Coach Slack, but I think he's a really good coach and cares about his players a lot.  Same can be said about Coach Henry, he graduated from West Hardin, it's home and people are very close in that area.

Unfortunately this will be my last year on SETXsports, my youngest is a Senior & I live nowhere near close enough to go out  there after this years over with.  Actually looking forward to not making those 2 to 3 hour drives for a game. We'll see about your dominating O-Line & ground game Friday night!  West Sabine and much of public opinion thought they had an unstoppable offense too, not so much against us.  Turnovers gave them that game.  We clean up our game, hands down a onesided affair in our favor!
