1. How do players who missed several games due to disciplinary reasons make the team much less 1st Team.  They must be very dominant to beat out guys who played in all of their drespective team's games.  Congrats to all who did make it!
 2. Unfortunately old school isn't accepted anymore.  Schools now have to send forms home for permission to inflict corporal punishment.  I know from personal experience that since the late 70's Nederland has suspended players from participating in extracurricular activities for drinking at school.  As a parent, my kid would not play again this season.  Doesn't matter what the school imposed.....I know you say it is punishing the team but my job as a parent is to raise my kid....furthermore, instead of punishing the team, it sends the message that playing is a privilege and self-discipline is necessary to play.  That can actually help a team.  It gives some other players the chance to step up.  Mistakes happen but there are consequences and the players knew that before they made the poor choice.  They weren't thinking about the team by their actions. Hopefully they learn from it and move on since they still have another year left after this one.
 3.
Had it been any kid from BISD, it would be on all 3 local channels and all news papers and CBT would be blamed....
Because Beaumont never seems to truly deal with the problem.  They let the kid who got caught smoking weed in Orange play basketball.  Winning was more important that teaching a kid a lesson.  He ended up doing the same thing at college and lost the scholarship.  BISD has some responsiblity for not holding the kid accountable when they could have.  At least NISD is suspending them from extracurricular activities for 6 weeks.  Must not have been a coach who caught them though!!!lol
 4.
T.Smith....Stevo Schelete...J. Pitts none of theses boys have signed ..WOW...These boys are a big part of Nederlands last two disrict titles... ???
And still surprisingly unsigned.  Hard to believe!!
 5.
alright sorry livingston boys found out today who made it but they only know the livingston kids not everybody else
Who made it from Livingston?
20-4A has been picked and already released to the kids.
Who made it then?
Ask Jr.
Same question as above?
 6. On any given day it could be Sonnier, Babino, Pitts, Duplant, or Smith.  What a problem for Nederland to have! ;)
 7. 20-4A Vidor:  Hagler(solid pitcher), Mohica(strong lead-off and good cf), Maxwell(best utility player p/ss) PNG:  Gizzi(good year with both bat and glove), Stone(down year but still is one of the better players) Nederland:  T. Smith(best pitcher), Pitts(best bat), Sonnier(best short stop), Babino(best catcher), Duplant(2nd best pitcher, solid bat, but too many errors at third). Central:  Nobody;  I know this will make some mad but noone on that team would start elsewhere. Ozen:  The short stop could make 2nd team ss or utility. Lumberton:  need to see again; didn't look as strong as some hyped when I saw them. Livingston:  CF impressed.

 9.

We could give suggestions on this thread, then a moderator compile it all and give a list? Just a thought since we dont have a list yet.. 3 kids from Nederland that could start for any team in SETX 1) Kelvin Smith 2) Chris Cunningham 3) Dionte Forney
Forney is not a top player. Maybe last year, but not this year.
I haven't seen Dionte play this season but he has already signed to play with Lamar next season as a 2 sport player so he must be pretty good.DC is probably the only other kid on this list that could possibly go D1 and I'm not real sure of that yet.
He signed for football and hopes to play basketball.  No guarantee he will do both.  He will have to improve greatly to play basketball.  Besides Lamar may have a new basketball coach next year.
 10.
1. DC Stallworth-Silsbee 2. Garrett Gustafson-HJ 3. Kristian Smith-Central 4. Darrin Sells-Woodville 5. Prentice Lane-Silsbee 6. Shawn Prudhomme-HJ 7. Zay McDaniel-Kountze 8. Dionte Forney-Nederland 9.. David Green-Ozen 10.. Brennan Doty-PNG 11. George Whittacre-Spurger 12. Hunter Gonzales-LCM Is all I can come up with lol
Kelvin Smith and Chris Cunningham are the best on Nederland's Team followed by Forney.  They all are better than half of who you listed.
 11. Vidor 3 votes and PNG none....Destroys credibility.  February 8th LCM plays PNG not Nederland.  Nederland plays @ Lumberton.
