Maybe Navasota. I don’t see them beating Bellville, Sealy or El Campo…. But we are talking about High school kids. I’m looking at who these teams have played and scores to evaluate them so far (With the exception of Bellville who I have seen play a few times this year). Not trying to be a homer But Bellville is solid IMO

There is actually a decent gap IMO between those first 4 teams and Wharton

We finally get to kick off district play this week. For playoff matchup purposes down the road I’ll update this the scores and standings on this post every week. Tuesday 3/22 (weather permitting) Navasota at Bellville Sealy at El Campo Wharton at Brookshire Royal Bellville should win the district but could possibly drop a game to El Campo or Sealy… Regardless I’d predict it will finish Bellville, El Campo, Sealy, and Navasota…. With all teams making it to Area after facing the HISD districts in the Bi District round

Also Keithan Hancock from Kountze played for Northwestern State in 2006 when they won their first round game as a 14 seed. They defeated the 3 seed Iowa Hawkeyes that year

Kountze wins 24-0 and improved to 4-1 in district

That may be true as far as district play is concerned. But I know a 4A team that pitched there Ace in a one game series all the way to the state tournament last year😂

Also with our district playing the Houston ISD district in bi district, whatever teams advance from this district to area will play ours.
