Ditto on the best game I have seen in a while! Both teams looked like they would take control at different times of the game. Great crowd from both schools! Excellent representatives of 3A football! Good luck to El Campo next week at Cowboy Stadium!! :D

Congratulations, Hayden!!! Those Ragin Cajuns seem to like our Cardinals!!!! Good luck with this year first, though!!! ;)

Having seen both or these talented teams, I will go with the Mustangs. Their defense will feast on Tiger turnovers and give their offense a short field. It will be a war for a half before the Mustangs take charge. I don't see a shut-out of the Tigers, just not enough points to pull this one out.

Special Olympics is the only place where everyone should get a ribbon. No wonder we have become a nation of entitlement. : :-[

Until Reliant has artificial turf, you can forget that venue. Too many games with the Texans still in season. The 3 city rotation would be sweet and very appropriate!

Keeping an eye out as models keep drifting Isaac toward the west. Isaac doesn't seem to have any main guidance influences controlling his movement. Here's hoping that it doesn't intensify too much and leaves us alone. Curse these " I " storms!!! >:(

No. Maybe we can just mail a DVD of the game to season ticket holders??? ;)

Why doesn't the NBA follow it's own rules? Read the rulebook on "traveling" and explain why a player bounces the ball once and takes multiple steps on his way to the goal. I am sorry that you feel the need to attack baseball for being a "corrupt" sport while yours is so pristine. ::) http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1113017-the-biggest-criminal-records-in-the-nba . I will stay off the basketball forum and I suggest you do the same here. ;)

SFA is a possibility being talked about

And to think that on this very board, more than a few folks were calling for a new coach in Vidor a couple of years ago....... :o.
Jeff Matthews is a quality AD, coach, and most importantly a quality man. He loves his players and is very complimentary to players on opposing teams. Congrats Jeff and all the super coaches he has hired for his staff!! 8) Keep it going Pirates!! Orange County and 20-AAAA is supporting you all the way!!

Mustangs big here. By 30 points. WOS is improving and Columbus struggling to beat Stafford tells me all I need to know. ;)
-
My guess would be #11. That guy played dirty all night and collected 2 for sure and maybe 3 personal fouls. The rest of the Cougars seemed to play pretty clean football.
-
Congratulations, guys!!! Proud of all three of you! Now, let's take care of a little business in the Spring...... ;D

Yep. I was there. Standing on the sidelines!!!!

Excellent. Perhaps you are one of the coaches. Do us a favor and find a new profession.

It is fair weather fans like you cardinal why LU lost it's program in 89!!!!! Give them a chance!!!

I am not throwing in the towel after 2 seasons . Last year we were happy to have a team playing again. This year we are looking for one-year's worth of improvement. Not seeing much. I am not demanding wins at this point but I am expecting LU to begin competing. My clock says that Coach Woodard should have 4 full seasons to produce a good product. That means my expectations project us to be at least in the middle of the SLC pack in the next two seasons. I certainly hope that we didn't have a bunch of potential recruits at tonight's game. :P

What I want to know is how is the Robin Hood law being administered. I see WOS sending several million dollars a year to Bridge City and WOS barely being able to afford anything. Then I see schools up in North Texas building college size stadiums. I see Friendswood with their own tractor trailor rig just to haul band instruments. The state of Texas needs to look anew at public school funding. Someone mentioned Jumbotrons, that is just to bring in better crowds, remember at most schools the football program is the primary revenue for the entire schools sports program. I can see a Jumbotron as an investment. I know WOS used to host at least one round of playoff football every now and then. Would field turf and a Jumbotron put them in the mix to make revenue again? Debatable I think.
[/quote]There is no Robin Hood plan. Bridge City would love for WOCCISD to send us a million or two but that has not happened in many years. Check with your admin. or school board if you don't believe it.
