Saw PAM play in Jasper tourney, and I would have to agree that Evadale would handle them easily.

I was not there, but know the opposing coach you are talking about well. She coached my older daughter a few years back. I can tell you this, she would not call for this to happen under any circumstance. Also, playing a team like Huffman she would not want to let any base runners reach base as that only calls for more chance of giving up runs. I also do not know the players involved but perhaps their is something outside of high school ball involved. I do not know who was pitching last night. They do have a pitcher on the team that was in Huffmans program last year.

Lumberton appeared to be developing into Haynes' offensive system, which takes time. I was very impressed with their QB, he was perfect for their offense. Babins scheme would not allow his abilities to continue to grow. SAD !!!!!!

And by the way, anything besides a zero win season is a vast improvement.
I'll give you my observation of Coach Paine, he shows a lot of excitement on the field and the the boys appear to really like him, he appears to be a good family man, BUT it wasn't the offense that struggled last year (for the most part) it was the defense, and I believe (not positive) Coach Paine was the defensive coordinator.

One chance you couldn't be further from the truth. The football team was vastly improved last year and has several returning starters at key positions. The rest of your guestimates are just as far fetched too btw. The kids are literally praying the board promotes coach Payne to preserve some consistency plus they love him. In my opinion, if you bring in Babin or anyone with a non-pro style offense, you will do a disservice to some of the key skill position players....possibly lose a few of them.

Mistake if that is the case. Just my opinion.

Ever hear of Sage Seay? Ummm ok nobody on this site can tell me Jacquet had a better season than that kid and not to mention the guys that weren't even nominated like I said the award is BOGUS!

Any ranking that cannot put teams in it's proper classification loses all credibility.

Neumann best coach in this area ever in my generation, surpassed Hooks tonight in my eyes & thoughts.

Hold up! You mean Central lost the game with the inventor of football walking their sideline! Say it isn't so. Lmbo... Like I said back in July, Foreman is the most overhyped and overrated coach in Beaumont football history.

Hannah Smith is a Sophomore at Nederland HS and play for the GT Shockers Gold team has officially committed to Baylor to play her college softball there. Congratulations form coach Trout and our entire Shocker family on this great accomplishment. Hannah is earned this with her hard work ethic , great attitude and the support of her family. Super proud of this kid.

I can't believe Lance Dale out coached the legend Chad Babin

Ned & Dayt got some things to fix/tweek.These 2 teams when they meet are so pumped up they both over react=penalties.I enjoyed seeing a few tackles but improvement needed.Met the Ned booster club president & Sage's father & others @ their home by the stadium for their tailgating.I was sad we can't have 1/10 th the fan support Ned has.A fine group of dedicated parents who offered me kindness & a brewski.PS scan the fresh team,there are some players there.I did hear 1 toy poodle barking tonight but it came from tailgaters home.This is the biggest line Dayt has had since 2002.Ned just outmatched upfront.Booster pres told me they'd spent 30 K just recent,Dayt Booster Club (3)raised $3,100 all of last yr.Shame parents won't get involved cause the few working(kids graduated 3 yrs ago)I've made a pledge to try to make a differance,some posters on here have agreed to do their part.See you Ned supporters@Hamb Depot tues 6-9 drop in and share your Setxsports HS Preview Show in your backyard.

EVERY girl sport at LHS made it to playoffs this year!!!!

Central will get blown out by 20 or more every game if there is any chance that it could cost you a playoff spot.  The rules are going to make for some ugly blow outs next year. If any  coach doesn't go fight for their kids they are not worth their salt. This is part of being a coach, you always stand up and fight for kids. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose but I always want my kids to know that I would do anything for them and ALWAYS PROTECT AND FIGHT FOR THEM NO MATTER WHAT.
