To me some of the picks have me scratching my head but congrats to all the young men on a fine season.

It must have been something big for him not to return. Hometown guy, great bunch of kids and I thought he had a good shot at having a great season next year. I wish him the best in whatever he chooses to do next

I think he is still upset that Buna beat them in the first round of football playoffs and that their baseball season could very well end against a very good Clifton team this weekend

I am not putting much in these rankings. In 3A Kountze beat a few of the teams ranked and only lost 1 but I guess THSB thought Franklin was the entire Kountze team! It's not where you start but where you finish and I look for 23-3A to represent well in the playoffs

I like the idea of all the paired districts playoff games being played at the same place.  This is something that can be done a few weeks before the end of the season as in this case and people can make plans.

I saw this and lost a lot of respect and in my opinion he lost a lot of credibility in my book.  This tells me that he most likely did not even look up what happen over here last Friday if this is his prediction.

5-0. Hasn't had a real test all year. Closes game was Buna, who they beat 52-28. They have alot weapons all over the field. They've improved a lot since last year, but I'm sure Kountze has too. I'll be there on Thursday to watch the game of the year in that 8th grade district!

I went to Lee back in the late 70's.........it was much worse between Lee and Sterling then.
 
My cousin went to RSS and made a run through poster and hung in the commons when they played Pasadena Eagles I believe........had an eagle standing with its beak on the ground and said "Knock their peckers off". He got a few swats but it was funny as hell

I will say that Kountze #1 is one of the best I've seen in a long. LONG time... He has the ability to be full speed, stop on a dime, and be full speed the next step (or at least the illusion to do so)... That is something only a World Class Athlete can do... I will say, Kountze came to play and gave us all we wanted... Good luck on the rest of your season Kountze, great game.....
