    Notre Dame 🤣🤣🤣

Bryce was on phone with his Howard Payne coach and he said they are now trying to recruit some big men for underneath. He said they have the twins from HJ and Jace Miguez (from Nederland) will be a Senior next year in front court. He is looking at a boy that is 6’6 that graduated from Nederland a couple years ago and friends with Jace. He was asking if we knew any big men around this area they could talk with. He has a 6’10” and 6’9” they are talking to out of Dallas area.

  2. Not being at school yesterday has several of us wondering who will be there tonight.... I HOPE ALL are there and all end up playing. we cant keep having players that need to be on the 1, 2 or 3 to be playing 4 and backing the 5 spot. Just not good for our game. We need to have our 1, 2 and 3 spot shooting shots are driving paint. and post play being between the 4 and 5 spots. Not healthy for us when our 1 is leading the team in rebounds also.

So I say Evadale by a spread if all get to play and are there. Evadale in a close one if not.

Hey @TigerAlumni85, how's your boys hand?

Its healing but every game he ends up tearing it back open. After the Sabine Pass game he came home and said he was tired of it ripping the stitches and wanted to glue it. So he got my medical bag and took the stitches out himself and we glued it... LOL...….   we are going to use a different wrap under the band to see if it will keep it from bleeding..... other than that he is toughing through it every game, desire to win is pushing him through the game....

Wednesday at his signing he was told that hand has to be completely closed up and healed before baseball season starts don't want any issues with him not playing.  LOL it better if not it is going to hurt much worse with the glove on and when batting...… LOL

and should be over by 7:45......lol......

LOL  Hope so we have Hot Hearts tonight and my son is the only one on Varsity that will be going. after each of the other games everyone is leaving for the event.... Would be nice if he could just sit and rest hand this game but I don't see that happening....

Good luck to you all tonight....

Was #2 back to his old self?

He still about 40% with the hand busted open last night when he went in for left handed layup and the hand got slapped...… He still had 8 assists 5 boards 5 steals and 22 points and got to sit last 3 minutes of 4th and a little in first.

Against West Hardin he still had a good game even with the head shot and stitches torn loose. scored 19, 10 boards, 5 assists and 5 steals.

We have just got to heal hand before baseball so he can wear a glove and hold a bat. we are getting it glued down tonight and we are going to use a different wrapping material Friday night that will compress the wound down while playing. It hurts but he refuses to sit out.

You think Evadale and WH both deserved the 20-30 fouls (a piece) that they were given that night? Personally I thought it was a bit excessive

Your exactly right it was extremely excessive. Not to mention the one ref was more concerned with what was going on in the stands and sidelines rather then watching they game. 3 times he was segueing with a fan and then turned and made a bad call against each team. It’s refs like this that cause issues for other refs.  I watched Evadale #2 get completely taken to the ground by WH player on a layup and his head slam of the court. Have watched to different video angles and both show all 3 refs with view to event . The player goes up for the ball and completely throws his body into Evadale player and comes down on top of him during shot and there was no foul called. One view shows one ref looking in stands pointing for fan to leave. I paid my dues and called games back in the late 80’s and early 90s but then retired from it. It was one of the most horrible games I have ever seen called. The one ref would be at one end of court and make a call on either team at the other end of the court. That was his fourth game to call and he couldn’t keep up with either team. He called 4 straight fouls against WH from the other end.

it was absolutely pathetic being speaking from an old ref.

Lol...you must have better signal than me....

I hooked up to the school wifi.  LOL. They had an after hour connection.  LOL

we lost but this game could of went either way at anytime. Just hate the refs controlled the game. Couldn’t of been any more proud of how my son played... you all got this one... LOL

Even if #2 for Evadale was completely healthy I'd still have it be a coin flip. If he's not then I'd pick WH at home by 10+

I agree even if he was 100% it would be a close game. Evadale going to have to have several others scoring and rebounding. Just isn't good that he will still have stitches for this game, was the point of the upper comment. Game would be a lot closer with him 100%.
