The ķicker looked great. 

Offensively, #7 simply has to get more touches. He was the lead back last year and torched the Indians. He's by far the most proven, dynamic offensive threat early this season and needs to be utilized more.

The defense was solid, but PNG didn't really test that unit. PNG QB ran timidly which surprised me bc he was the Wildcat QB last year. 

Overall, good first game and win. 

He’s always ran timid. 

I’m a loyal PNG fan, but I think PA will take this one. We have a lot of young kids and the speed of PA maybe too much for week 1.

Also Joe grew up and Graduated from Tarkington and his wife is from Hardin so for the doubters this is almost a homecoming for him and his family

Watch his interview on the ISD Facebook Page. He emphasized Crosby will be physical. 
 

Although we won that game it still embarrasses me we had to score 72 point to win a game. 

I’ve known Joe for a very long time. He’s a hell of a coach and mentor. One thing for sure Crosby will play defense and the best 11 players will be on the field. 

Heard Toby was spotted in Crosby yesterday.

Mathews first season leading the Pirates was in 1999. In that time Vidor advanced to the playoffs nine times and won two district titles.

Mathews career ends with a record of 117-124.

Any idea where he is going?

The reason the games are at ATT is Dallas area schools don’t travel. There wouldn’t be a couple thousand SOC, DeSota , Duncanville fans in attendance if it wasn’t in their back yards.

Yeah not bad for 3 games, but it’ll cost you 300.00 to eat and drink. 

Just like professional and college sports overpricing so the common people can’t afford it. I’ll never go again unless PNG plays. It’s all about the almighty $$$$

As for AT&T Stadium its the nicest stadium in the state, it is an amazing facility 

All about $$$$$$$$$ 25.00 to park, 20.00 for a ticket and anyone who doesn’t live in the DFW area 200.00+ for hotel, Gas and food! Not counting the overpriced stadium food. 
 

Im okay going back to using high school and college stadiums.
