St Andre carries for 4 and FD. 1 & 10 - Dayton 32 - Complete for no gain...not recognizing some of the names out there 2 & 10 - Scramble for 6 3 & 4 - Chambers drops first down catch....hit him in a bad spot

Back in my normal spot :).  Just turned it on...GP just punted and the internet is off and on but Andres completed the first pass for 8. 

No friggin' way...and it doesn't look like it was a fluke either.  Sheisse...a guy takes a trip to Charlotte/Denver and the world turns upside down!  Congrats to the hill and have Smokin' Baby pass me the Grey Poop on.

[/quote] It's completely different.  There's not really much game planning for a freshman or JV game and adjustments aren't really made that much.  Thrown in the fact that most JV's are actually the scout team for varsity and spend most of the week running the other team's offense.

[/quote] Air Force and Nebraska (Scott Frost) in the '90s was about the only time I've seen that offense really be somewhat exciting.  Of course they threw out of it quite a bit.  It can be pretty difficult to stop if everything goes right...of course if you get down by 14 you're in somewhat deep stuff

D.P. 28- LaPorte 14 [/quote] Although I think the Fighting Deer are going to take this one....DP is big but in NO WAY are they extremely fast.  The two RB's are really fast and that's it.  QB has a good arm and is a really good at the lost art of ball-handling on the play-action.  DP's middle linebacker is just flat out mean...they play solid defense but they are not a sideline to sideline type of defense.

Is that why half your Defense got busted stealing laptops from the school a couple of years back. Maybe instead of worry about our coaches you should be concerned about how Dayton is teaching their kids to grow up and be productive people. I finally glad Dayton go one athlete was able to stay in college long enough to reap the benifits of a full ride scholarship (Green). Don't preach to us about ethics and setting a good example until your town cares about something other than football 8) Stepping of soap box! Can I get an AMEN 8) Not exactly sure how this relates to a coach setting the example for his team...in the example you bring up the players were kicked off the team.  I do find that to be a good example set by the coaches...had the coaches actually stolen the computers or just excused the behavior then it'd be a different story.

[/quote] I guess my standards for honest and honorable must be higher.  The timing for everything in football from practice to the games is planned down to the minute.  So you're telling me that a grown man who plans the teams' lives down to the minute did not have a watch in order to tell what time it was to come out for the game.  I can understand gamesmanship and that's fine, but there are certain things you do not do as a leader and the example for young men to follow...

I'm always surprised there are no egregious smells in BH with all the plants....well I should say until you get too close to smokin' baby ;).

Haha....forgot about that "gimmick" defense reference from last year.  Always looked like a normal old 3-4 to me???
