When teams aren't out on the field for The National Anthem....

So I'm guessing with your uncle reffing we won't have to endure the Gage temper tantrum again?  Another onside kick to start the game?  Show up for the National Anthem this time though.

Haha he doesn't need to say anything.  Based on having seen both teams.....Brenham should be the higher ranked team.  Dayton has the better O, but Brenham may have the best defense in the state.  That's as of now....we all know that Dayton gets better as the season goes on ;).

Tyrone....where you been??  Did you move to Missouri City or something?  I got a feeling this is gonna be a much closer game than last year.  BH will be disciplined and well coached and I'm guessing won't fumble 72 times like last year.  Dayton needs to get un-nicked-up as well.  Still think too much talent in North Old River for South Old River to handle.  42-14.

Finally got to get to a game so sorry hawkeye about the lack of updates.  O-line needs to bring it early and often and the slow starts are killing us.  Glad to see the passing game stretch the field although it did take a little bit.  Defense....tackle better and catch the ball.  At least 6 balls that could've been picked off and 2 that should've.  Coverage was there though most of the night, even on the tipped ball td...strange to say but it's going to be tough to pass on this team.  Really enjoyed the effort and toughness on both sides of the ball against a far bigger team.  Let's get those injuries healed soon!  Herrerra went out and bought him some speed from somewhere and all the receivers seem to be a step faster as well.  Let's take it to the ants next week!

Although you do make a good argument grad...it does sound petty and spiteful when a Channelview Coach shows up as well.  I'm guessing he coached at WOS last year.

I'm going to have to go to this game.  I just have a hard time seeing Ike winning this game...maybe I'll be proven wrong.  Bronco offense seems to be fine but I'm a little more worried about the defense. 

Brenham's defense is too good for MW to handle.  I'm not sure there's a team in the state that could line up and run right at them with success.  This game will all come down to Brenham's offense...if they get it going then it will get ugly.

Hopefully the boys get it rolling this week.  Nice to see McBride and Jakari back so the offense is getting to full strength.  Looking for Jakari to turn it on this week.  Like Liltex said....gotta get it rolling for 4 quarters.

Gotta land the knockout blow when they're on the ropes though.
