he's just throwing shade.  when your opponent scores 54, you better keep scoring. I dont care at what point in the game it is. If he dont understand that, than he dont understand football.  if i was EC, I would have scored 140 points if I could.  that just showed his ignorance and why Hardin people get a bad wrap on here

Ignorance is bliss... sometimes I wish I had an IQ of 40 and was ignorant as some folks.. my life would be much simpler for sure!

Way to keep it classy EC! Smh...

What would you have liked for EC to have done?  Take a knee before RUNNING it in for the score?  Take a knee before RUNNING back a kickoff return?
You do realize the majority of the points came off of RUNNING the ball, correct?

So I'm going to ask the question I started with.. what would your suggestion be the next time your back takes off for 70 and 80 yard runs and your opponent has already put up 40+ points on you?

all i hear is good things about coach sutherland - is he the brother of the basketball coach ?

    Yes, they are brothers.

Todd came back over to East Chambers in 2015 after coaching at Hardin Jefferson and Kountze in past years.

He left EC back in '97.

  4. This will be a close game either way.  I'll state the obvious and whichever team doesn't turn the ball over will win and EC has not done a good job of that this year.

Numerous turnovers so far.  If they can get the mistakes corrected, they have the talent to compete and possibly win.

If anybody truly thinks either team is getting blown out, then they haven't followed both teams very closely because it is very evenly matched as far as talent.

  5. Close game... close to being a HUGE blowout.

EC needs to clean a lot of things up prior to Woodville, as well as get some sort of resemblance of a sustainable passing attack.

Yes, I know they had a few passing TDs, but in large part to blown assignments from HF, as well as the stud WR, David, making it look easy out there....

....But there was a stretch in the 2nd half where the ball was not in arms reach of a receiver.

    Your post

"Reverse jinx, lol boy. Not a Silsbee fan since my days in Dayton.  Have kids in EC school district and really could care less who wins."

Now who said that. Tries to be cute but doesn't lie very well.

BTW smarty pants it s actually spelled (Genius) Genuis.  Notice your red squiggly line.

The spelling error on my part was intentional, to add a little levity to the conversation...  anyway..

My kids are 10, 5, and 1 and have been in the district for 2 years and I played in Dayton a LONG time ago.

You said I have kids who PLAY on the team, which couldn't be more wrong.
