People tend to forget that CD had a field goal and made the majority of his XP's. A few tweaks and he will be automatic. I've already  seen it. I'll be working with him some more. He'll be fine, he has the leg and the ability. It's just a few kinks in his teqnique that are easy to fix.

Oh, and you don't get your behind whipped on the line of scrimmage and move the ball, I don't care what offense you run.  And their big uns were a LOT better than your big uns.  
Speaking of, as is often the case, WOS's O Line probably doesn't get enough love.  Those guys do a FANTASTIC job.  The Mustangs are nasty in the trenches!

I've compared him to Major Applewhite on several occasions.  My son said tonight he reminds him of the Horns new QB, Shane Buechele.  My sample size with him is one game but I see the comparison.  
Jack impresses me everytime I see him.  A lot of kids are talented and a lot of kids are coachable.  JD is definitely both.  But he also has something that can't be taught and only a few have.  It's so special the best term we can use to describe it is "IT."  And Jack Dallas most certainly has "IT."

EXACTLY. All this faux outrage, like things have really changed. C'mon, I know looking at that meme is a shock to see when you consider that the kid in it had to deal with actually seeing it, but who is anyone fooling here? Do you think all the racist morons that have propagated this type of ignorant drivel just magically evaporated one day? You think this is shocking out in the open, but how many times have white people seen stuff like this that stayed in white circles just exactly as this one was intended and thought yeah that's horrible, but never really called the person out on it? It's about time things like this come out. I am glad social media is making it impossible to hide behind hypocrisy. Ignoring things doesn't make them go away and no one who has lived in Orange for any length of time is ignorant to the fact that BC overtaking WO-S in student population size is at least partially due to white flight. I am proud that the WO-S players have the discipline and sense to not respond in kind and have represented themselves well thus far on social media, especially the black ones, but let's be real - this is nothing new or surprising to them. It's just a damn shame that it STILL exists. If someone had made the perpetrator of this meme feel like an idiot for even thinking the idea's espoused by it, he never would have shared it in a secret circle. Clearly that hasn't happened in his daily life. Clearly he thought that it was acceptable and something that would be appreciated by his intended audience. I am GLAD this garbage was exposed and frankly they cannot make a big enough deal out of it. It is wrong and unacceptable on every level.

If this game were to be cancelled on that basis, that BCISD is concerned about their players' safety, I for one would find that just as offensive as the post that caused this mess.  WO-S players, upset as they may be, are fully able to control their emotions on the football field and the WO-S coaches are fully capable of controlling the Mustangs.  They have that sort of discipline, discipline that if one or more of the Cardinal players would have possessed, we wouldn't be discussing this situation right now!
