Silsbee is a lot better than their 0-3 record. They have played 3 solid teams that would give a vast majority of 4a teams an 0-3 record as well. Number 2 and 4 will score all night. I think number 2 will be the next big time recruit for Silsbee. 

If  you think HF has any chance whatsoever, then you either:
A) Played at HF yourself
.B) Your child currently plays at HF

Going out on a limb and saying West Hardin takes the W.  Last year was 24-12.  I think the Oilers can get over the hump.

People don't think that Lumberton will beat Kirbyville because they got throttled by Newton.  They think that because Kirbyville isn't very good this year.

Newton is the only small school in the state that “can” do that and has done that for 35-40 years.  You are the exception to the rule. And no, they are NOT on the right track. My sister is a teacher there and it’s turmoil still today with how most feel about admin & coaching staff.

There will always be teams that miss the playoffs that could probably make it in other districts....and teams that get in or even win their district but probably couldn't make the playoffs in other districts.  Luck of the draw.  Happens on every level.  There are a lot of NFL teams that could win Houston's division but don't make it.

You're right about the weight room. Maybe they'll see some gains and carry it to next year. Time will tell. Very tough district. 

As I'm sure you know, there are a few ways of doing it to make it better and more competitive. 4 or 5 team districts need to be gone, otherwise games like Tatum/Huntington will be a battle for playoffs winning one district game. When money is in question, weird decisions will be made.

Buna is better than kirbyville. Buna will take 2nd spot. 

I think it a bit unfair to lay the blame at the feet of Coach Buckner given that Warren's inability to compete on the football field has been a problem ever since I can remember.

Just a little different in a game situation though.

Deweyville didn't miss playoffs by much last year. Looking at max preps, only lost to west Sabine by 3. Ones apparently improving while the other is doing the opposite. Great chance to cause a stir. 

Hamshire is looking good this season. Hard to stop that rb. I think buna scores a few though. 35-20 hamshire

HF is the better team but with it being a rivalry it will be closer than any other game. HF by 10 though. That RB is good. 

Evadale. That qb is pretty good. Not enough depth for deweyville to keep up with those receivers.
