  1. I haven't hidden since L-Town played BH. I was impressed with them then and I'm still impressed, especially with Viverette, the kid is a hoss. BTW, look at the Saturday headlines for my not so subtle prediction of their upcoming game............LOL
  2. "When word first became public that a player from West Orange-Stark had been suspended from playing in the West Orange-Stark/Hamshire-Fannett game last week, setxsports.com stated that it's policy regarding the matter would be that details published here regarding the suspension would come only after mainstream media, i.e local newspapers, television and/or radio stations revealed such details. And to this point, setxsports has held to that. Yesterday, by publishing a link to an article published by the Beaumont Enterprise, the name of the suspended player was made public here. However, since setxsports has taken its stance, through unofficial channels it has become apparent that this matter will be in litigation and in fact, that process may have already begun. Thus, until time as such litigation has come to a conclusion or that courts have signaled that it is okay to publish such details, setxsports will not publish any details about the suspension including the name of the suspended player or the details of the alleged transgression. By publishing the link to the Enterprise article, setxsport does not believe that it committed any wrongdoing. However, with litigation pending, setxsports has decided to step back and not have any comments regarding this matter until such litigation clears up. We know that some may criticize this move as setxsports protecting a WO-S player. Nothing is further from the truth, it is just to trust the courts to sort this out and not be a potential hinderance to that process and to protect the interests of sexsports.com and those that operate this board. Some may argue that we are being too cautious in this approach, we acknowledge the disagreement up front, but again feel that this is the prudent approach at this point. We thank you for your patience in this matter. setxsports.com" Personally, I thought policy at SETXsports, was always that we never spoke bad of a particular player as these guys are children and whether or not we agree with a suspension, the specifics in these cases don't belong on this forum. The way I see it, if a person feels they have something to say about it, the Enterpise provides a forum for people to speak their mind no matter how moronic or wise it may be. Let's talk sports......woohoo!
  3. I agree! I've seen Barbers Hill referred to as the most logical team to move into our district, my question is, how often has BH been placed in the Golden Traingle area districts? I would think Dayton has been put over here more often plus mileage wise they are the most logical choice, short miles from Beaumont to each is Livingston - 75, Mont Belvieu - 58, Dayton - 49.
  4. REAL CAT FIGHT GOES DOWN AT THE BABE!!! OH, AND SOME FOOTBALL WAS PLAYED THERE TOO.... SEVERAL PLAYERS SEEN STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF RAIDER STADIUM ASKING WHAT HAPPENED? WHICH SIDE WERE THEY FROM? SEE STORY ON PAGE 99. BRUINS EXPECT TO RIDE THE TITANS AND FIND OUT THEY'RE REALLY ON THE TITANIC. TEAMS NAMED EAGLES ALL SOAR THIS WEEKEND NOT GOOD NEWS IF YOU'RE A LION.
  5. Dang Soulja, how come you didn't say that two weeks ago. : ;D
  6. NDN, I had to chuckle at this, the statement, tagged with the prediction just looked kind of out of place. By the way, can someone pick up some duct tape on the way to Lumberton, we need something sticky. If we play as tough as I think NDN is thinking but still make slippery mistakes, PNG 17 - L-Town 10. If L-Town plays the way they actually have the ability too, PNG 17 - L-Town 14 or 21.
  7. LOL, Oh yeah Smitty, even the most professional of coaches will go on a tirade on some ref every once in awhile.
  8. hopefully it would come down to lumberton nederland and ozen for the final spot Well let's see the schedule here, hmmmmmmmmmm Ozen vs. Central, PNG & LCM = Loss, Loss, ? Nederland vs. Livingston, Vidor, Lumberton = ?, Loss, Loss (assuming we learn to hold the ball better) LCM vs. Vidor, Lumberton, Ozen = Loss, Loss, ? (one thing that would change this outlook completely would be a win over Vidor, LCM does that and I predict lights out for the rest of us.) Lumberton vs. PNG, LCM, Nederland = Loss, Win, Win (again, assuming we learn to hold on to the ball. anyone got any scotch tape?)

  10. I'm actually kind of shocked that L-Town is still hanging in on the polls, especially after Fridays' giveaway.
  11. Looks like BH nearly pulled this one off, I told you Broncs to be careful, congratz on the win. Now BH, go kick crosbys' butt next week. ;D I am pretty sure L-Town is now out of it unless everyone else in 20-4A completely falls apart.
  12. Four playoff teams is okay, but there should be a minimum on district size, like maybe no less than seven teams with the norm being eight. I wouldn't even be adverse to adding two preseason games to accomodate larger district sizes either.
  13. Man, you gotta feel sorry for that 1/2 person we have in Lumberton, I wonder if they are a he or a she and if they only have to attend school half days?
  14. Well shEEEEEooot!!! Don't that jus' beat all. I ain't never heerd of no such talk bafore.

  16. L-Towns' entire defense, in spite of being on the field most of the night, they managed to hold the Jags to 14 points.
  17. Seems I read that this field will only seat 10,000. If they are building it to last 30 years, you'd think they'd have built it to seat at least 16,000. This will make it's seating less than Reliant....er I mean PNG's stadium.
  18. Although I haven't found it yet, the actual rule on Air Horns at athletic events only prohibits their use at indoor facilities. It is located somewhere in one of the UIL manuals if anyone wants to go looking for it online.
  19. You're right about that, that, at least for Central could have easily been the play of the game. Solid stand there.
  20. please, central has much more team speed than lumberton does Well, here's my coulda woulda shoulda take on the game, you can take it or leave it Vidor Peerat. If L-Train coulda got over their fumblitis or at least recovered their own fumbles, they woulda in all likelyhood won, that being said, as many fumbles as we had/lost, I personally think Central shoulda stomped a hole in the Raiders tonight. I am really surprised Central didn't come away with at least 42 more points, give the Lumberton Defense some huge props for containing this game and never letting the Jags run away with it. On the other side, props to the Jags for jumping on all those fumbled balls. Both teams played well considering the greased pig they were trying to hang on to. Thank goodness, the penalties were pretty much at a minimum this week. The team that took the best care of the ball came away with the win, congratulations. On a side note, I think teams who commit penalties on purpose just to burn up a little more time should receive a loss of down as well as the negative yardage. Are you talking about Central? Yes and no Soulja, I think any team that does this is wrong and should lose a down. Granted it was a heck of a way to burn up the rest of the clock, but had they not gotten that last "penalty", we would have had the ball for what at least one more play. People can use all the excuses in the world, but this has IMO, always been a sneaky way to win. Let the game play out until the end is what I feel.
  21. Make him change it to, KFDMCoop , Also make the background the Silsbee school colors and then add an end tag like [glow=red,2,300]Go Tigers, spank the 'Stangs[/glow] Official Weatherman Fan Of The Silsbee Tigers
