Looks like it's going to be a tough tough game for the Hill.

I wonder if the sidline to sideline guys are still thinking next week will be Stafford vs. CH? I'm pretty confident it'll be Lumberton and we can take CH just by not falling for their hype. I think we're the better team. Some folks have said Livingston scored against their backups, but the same thing was true in the Lumberton/Livingston game and we held them better than CH.

Is it just me or does anyone else think those dang golden helmets the bears win seem to make it look like they have twice as many guys on the field and on their sidelines as any other team. I noticed that when Lumberton played y'all.

You know, it's really hard to be proud of making playoffs int this district with all you guys telling these kids how BAD this district is. You should be proud of your home team making the playoffs in any position and talk them up rather than beating them down.

I think it may have to do with location and time to get ready. Not sure. Every time I've listened which admittedly hasn't been a lot because I prefer to be there they've been okay. The last one Brooks was doing play by play because Dana is our stadium announcer so he stepped in for him.

I think our biggest problem last night was a case of nerves to start with and their coach started off with a little trickery. We basically gave them their first 14 points not expecting what we got. Once our guys settled in the beat down was on.

Just some perspective, although I know it really doesn't make a difference, if we happen to meet Chapel Hill in the Regional Final here's the comparison of our two common opponents.
Lumberton 54 Palestine 29 = 25 point differential Chapel Hill 42 Palestine 21 = 21 point differential.
Lumberton 49 Livingston 6 = 43 point differential Chapel Hill 45 Livingston 36 = 9 point differential.
Like I said you can't really compare the scores for a real world application but it certainly looks rosie for Lumberton.😉

I was thinking about that later on and maybe they were talking about the quarterfinals beinf either Brazosport or El Campo. Have to listen to it again but I still think we can take CH.
