  1. Goes to show the right coaching can make a team. Seems like West Brook has been floundering since Peavey left.
  2. I realize Calprep is a guess at best but they actually project the score to be HF 28 WOS 26 and that's nuetral field. Home field should give HF another point or two.๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. So essentially any ranking Lumberton gets until the playoffs we'll be considered way over ranked I guess....
  4. I heard the Sabine Pass Squirrels went nuts.๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. I hope they try and run outside a lot. We shouldn't have any problem outscoring them but we need to work on closing those outside lanes down.
  6. I think Livingston will pull this one out. Huffman doesn't look like they can stop much this year.
  7. 1. Barbers Hill 2. Fort Bend Marshall 3. Dayton 4. New Caney Porter 5. Port Arthur Memorial 6. Santa Fe 7. Liberty 8. Jasper 9. Little Cypress-Mauriceville 10. Livingston 11. Leverett's Chapel 25. The Woodlands Christian
  8. The key to stopping LCM is to stop that kid they call the king, what's his name Ward or something like that? That kid is a beast on both sides of the ball. Reminds me of what we had with Anthony Beard back a few years back.
  9. Well, I'm going to pull for Vidor but I'm pretty sure they will come up on the short end.
  10. Hey I'm just a forgotten choices week from catching AggiesAreWe. ๐Ÿ˜†
  11. It's going to be tough to take Newton down the rest of this season.
  12. Just think bud, if the play calling is that horrible, just how talented are the players for your team?
  13. This is a pretty good little article about one of our linemen, a younf man who is NOT handicapped in the least. We're proud to have you on our team young man.
  14. WOS gets back in the win column with this game.
  15. While us fans certainly do, I think coach Reyes has already learned his lesson on the St Thomas game based on his tweet afterward. He will keep the guys focused on the task at hand.
  16. My understanding they would have to be voted on by all the district coaches. I would hope the other coaches would vote a resounding no to a midseason transfer within the samegeographic area.
  17. He definitely is a beast. I'm betting he'll end up with more yards this year than last.
  18. We rarely say anything about the boys in the stripes, except maybe they are blind๐Ÿ˜‰. I would like to bring up something though, in 1958 my uncle Beau Hicks joined the Southwest Officials Association, the precursor to todays Texas Association of Sports Officials, he served as Secretary, I believe President for a while, refereed in both High School and College games as well as ending his career as a recruiter for officials for the NFL. A few years after Uncle Beau started my dad, Wayne Hicks, joined as well, both of them served in virtually every position on the field as well as officiating basketball for awhile which I remember was not my dads' favorite. About 20 years after my Uncle joined my middle brother BJ Hicks joined TASO and has officiated just about every position on the field along with becoming one of the few caucasian officlas in SWAC for a few years. One of my cousins also tried it for awhile but didn't like it. Both my dad and my uncle have passed on leaving the legacy to my brother and this year will be my brothers' last year after close to 45 years running up and down the fields with all the young men. It seems odd to me knowing there will no longer be a Hicks out on that field but I would like to let you guys know that they all served with honesty and integrity. It takes a special man to give his time and his money (they pay yearly dues) and I have been lucky enough to have been related to several of them.
  19. I'm sorry but no. Lumberton LCM/Huffman Vidor/Livingston/Splendora
