I was told that he resigned and that he had already been hired.  The VAST majority of school districts will let you out of your contract anytime.  They do not want someone who has asked to leave.  I have seen this in 1A through 6A in my 23 years of teaching/coaching.  I do not know the particulars in this situation, but I am from Kountze and still hear talk from friends still there.

Yes- but only because I have never seen this much enthusiasm for a future that is so hard to predict that far in advance.

On a side note, with the hire of Williams and Haynes at Kountze ISD, is Joubert in the beginning stages of building a coaching dynasty? Seriously, think about it.

Learned tonight that PA Memorial head basketball coach Travis Williams has resigned to take a special education coordinator position at Kountze ISD.

Be interesting to see who lands this job.

And due to the large number of returning starters, Vidor has a chance of being most improved.  

Vidor runs the slot T, not the triple option.

​I'm not so sure Dayton would be in this district. In my opinion it would more likely be Caney Creek. Caney Creek is only about 10 miles from New Caney, Porter, and Splendora.

​Great athletes can stand out anywhere.  Great athletes can also get overshadowed and catch bad breaks anywhere as well.  If this young man keeps working hard, stays out of trouble and doesn't get unlucky with injuries, he will have an opportunity to play on Sundays.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the burnt orange.

But some feel they are qualified because of their last name...smh..Hancock would be a great choice...people have to understand they must PAY THEIR DUES..keep your nose clean, be LOYAL where you are, work hard and your time will come...its NOT a right of passage...
