Well at the start of the season I couldn't imagine them winning over Maybe 1 game. After seeing them play Caldwell and then them beating Hardin, and Woodville, which no one thought they could do, anything is possible. The new coach has them playing and believing, at least it will be interesting.

To be truthful, the one doing the most talking about Shepherd before the Hardin game was playa from Liberty. And we haven't heard squat from him in the last couple of weeks. Keep doing what your doing Pirates. Good luck again, and congrats to Riddle, Washburn, Few and Phillips. Ya'll deserve this success.

Congrats to the Shepherd kids. They have some really go kids there that deserve this win. Hopefully there will be more to follow. As I said earlier this week, they will surprise some teams before its all over. Good job, Few, Riddle and Washburn. Keep up the good work.

OK This is for playa, Liberty is great. They will probably end up second in district this year. They will win ever game in district except either Cleveland, or Coldspring. Huffman may give them a game but they will win by 2 td's in the end. Shepherd and Tarkington will be no challenge, In fact the panthers will most likely send their JV to play those two. And if for some reason they don't make the playoffs its the coaches fault and they should be fired. Oh and by the way, next year Liberty will schedule Dayton and will beat them too.

Catch your breath playa. I didn't say they were gonna beat you, I said they were gonna surprise some teams and that they could win 2 - 3 games in district. Actually, I believe Shepherd will surprise some people including Hardin this week. Don't let last weeks score fool you. Caldwell is a really good team. Big, strong, fast, and they do what they do really well. Not saying Hardin isn't good, but I don't think they are in Caldwells class. While I'm at it, I will predict that Shepherd will get 2 or 3 wins in district. I know thats not going to win any prize, but its a start.

We played them last week and had several chances to score and put the game away in the first half. Didn't do it and it came back to bite us. They are big and fast but they will put the ball on the ground. The qtr. back will throw the ball up if you put pressure on him (we had 3 picks, well 4 if you count the one that turned out to be a great punt) Don't fall asleep late in the game they will run someone on late and fake a kick...ouch that hurts.

I watched Huntington on film they looked big and slow, which is someting I should know about, anyway, Tarkington has some speed, so I say if the can get any line play at all they will win. I'll pick Tarkington. Good luck Cucco, Consimeu, and gang.

Didn't see this thread. Game was alot closer than the score shows. Great game. We were just hoping for an insurance run, and the wheels came off for Evadale. Saturday should be exciting.

Maud and Carlisle will be a great match-up in round 3 if both get there. But Carlisle had better not look past Simms. If Simms wins their opening round game and gets to Carlisle, in a one game playoff it could get interesting. Same thing holds true for Maud. In one game, anything can happen.
