  1. My daughter plays for Bay Area Christian in League City.  She is playing in state tournament next week and then we have vacation. She would be available to play after June the 6th. She pitches, plays 3rd and 1st base.  Currently all-district 3rd baseman but plays everywhere but catcher. Looking for a team this summer.
  2. Good news for BACS.  I thought Legacy might be some competition for them.
  3. Hull Daisetta by how much ever they want.  This game will be over on the kickoff.
  4. I was at game tonight.  Daughter goes to BACS.  Son played against Evadale back in 2008 and 2009.  They are not the same team as back then. Will be a long year for the Rebels.  BACS team is young and fast but will not win their district. Hope Evadale gets it back together and look forward to a very good game next year.
  5. That is absolutely awesome.  When my son went to HD the summer workout program was 1 kid.  That is a great increase.
  6. Daughter graduated from HD and had 31 college hours when she graduated.  She will finish college in 2 1/2 years from a highly aclaimed academic university.  Plays softball, golf and is on cheerleading team in college.  State champion in debate, college national finalist in debate.  Graduated HD.  Editor for Galveston newspaper graduate 2006 from HD. Not best school in area, but deffinately not bad either.
  7. Tried to call the head coach numerous times with no return phone call
  8. Do you need a Pitcher/First Base?
  9. This will be a very good game.  Evadale is always tough, very well coached and disciplined.  They also have a great tradition and will be playing at home.  Cypress is also very tough, well coached and disciplined.  The Cypress team this year is not as big as last year and can be run on, especially up the middle.  They are very quick on the edges, have a good quarterback and recievers.  Their secondary is the best part of their team. If Evadale can run the ball and control the clock they have a very good chance of taking this one at home.  Cypress wins this one with three field goals 23-20. Their kicker kicked a 52 yarder last week. He is amazing.
  10. Come to find out in Tapps juniors and below can play on thursday night and friday night.  Seniors can not play on jv though. They can not play on the side of the ball that they start on jv level but can play the other side of the ball.  If a kid is a starting LB but doesn't play on offense he can come out and play running back on thursday and then suit up and play LB on friday night, but no seniors.
  11. I have to agree with Bucfan.  We need to wait and see on this one.  The one thing I would say for the football team in High Island.  After Ike the football team had alot to do with saving the school, maybe the school can now help save the football team.  Good Luck Cards.
  12. when my son was in junior high at high island they beat us about 40-20.  At the end of the game the called a time-out with 2 seconds to go and tried to through a long pass for touchdown.  Luckily my son creamed the QB and they didnt score, but then they wanted to pass.  For a Christian school no class.
