Crosby has talent and speed but i think The dogs dominate this game from start to finish. Not sure what all is going on in that Crosby school district but it has effected the kids. I was expecting the coogs to hounce back after the lss to PNG but they have gone backwards losing to Sante Fe and Barbers Hill. I thought PNG would struggle with Sante Fe but it wasnt even a ballgame. What i have learned is teams match up differently with other teams so it reallu makes it hard to gage another teams performance. So with that being said i still think the dogs win.

Dayton looks small this year compared to years past. Hoping we stay healthy and injury free.

I dont think we are so much bashing the defense it is more or less telling the truth. Over the last few years it has gone downhill . At this point all i look for is a couple of stops and let the offense take care of business. It is frustrating to see special teams give up a kickoff return on a pooch kick. But was quickly forgotten when Cejas returned the punt. Guess we just have to take the good with the bad. Ready for tomorrow night. Hopefully no rain and an injury free win for PNG.

I guess it has not set in well over there west of rhe trinity river yet. All the trash talk and disrespect makes it all the better walking out of there with the win. Crosby is a well tuned machine on offense. Not so much on the defense. Not gonna gloat too much time to do work on Dayton Next week. No need to worry about Ned until weel 11. You need to worry about getting past Crosby with yalls perfect lil 6-0 record and well earned #10 state ranking. Yall have the target on your heads now. Until then sit back and enjoy the ride.

PNG for the win. I do not think Dayton has enough gas in the tank. We have a week to prepare for them and a lil roadtrip there to get the job done. Gonna have to make that drive down Hwy 90 next week one more time lol. Scalpem

Stattrax thought we would lose. Always worried about our defensive side of the ball. Hell he didnt even come to the game lol. When you have  a player like Shug on your team you always have a chance. Well assuming our coach doesnt try to give away the game with a fake punt again, i think it will be a back and fourth game. Turnovers will be key and penalties must be kept to a minimum. What is the weather looking like for Friday night?

Nederland wins at home on supersaturated field. Every win in our district will be earned. No easy games this year everyone counts. Good luck to the dogs as im backing the boys on my side of the trinity river 

Hope Rj is 100%, defense was brutal against a horrible Tomball team. ANY team who can throw the ball will flat out give us fits. Our Recievers have to catch cant have two tds dropped wide a$$ed open, or catch one 1 step out of back of endzone. We shot ourselves in the foot last outing. We must improve on both sides of the ball period.

Will be a big test for us. Im not taking this team likely. But i do have faith In RJ and company on offense. Think RBs are gonna rise up to the challenge. Defense will be what i anxiously watch. CURIOUS  to see if they rise up for the challenge and get after Huntsvilles offense.

First of all, congrats, Indians.  Great game plan and an even better game from Boy Wonder.  He had a 'perfect' game, meaning he threw accurate completed passes.  The first tackler never brought him down.  He ran around tiger defenders, he jumped over them, he stiff armed some, and he even spent off some.  Even when he was bottled up, he was still able to throw the ball away.  Seems like no lost yardage for him.  Such and awesome talent and a beauty to see him so polished after seeing him 2 years ago week 1.  Late in the game, PN-G just started leaning on Silsbee.  O-ljne decent size, but there is one monster up there and they ran behind him all night long.  Indians will do well in the new district and in the playoffs 

 

Silsbee actually played good and was competitive early.  The two long TD runs...  The fored fumble.  We didn't score after that, which I felt needed to happen.  Young qb play killed us that drive taking two huuuge mistakes putting us in third and a mile.  Momentum change was after the huge catch by #22.  After that, seconds in the half, we were looking to go into halftime 28-21.  Instead, 35-14 hole.  It all went downhill from there....BTW, the power run game was working, why go into the 'wild tiger'?  Didn't look comfortable and probably shouldn't have been tested against a team like PN-G when we needed to score on damn near EVERY possession.  

 

We move on, and the schedule won't get any easier.  Newton on the road.  Good thing is they won't be as big as PN-G and the Foster kid is no Boy Wonder, but he can still make plays and Newton has 3 gamers.  Have to be ready and unleash our gamers the WHOLE game, not just for a half.  

PS.....Biaplayer , enjoyed the halftime phone convo.  Couldn't make it over to meet up with you, lots of family members on deck to entertain.  Catch you on a Silsbee bye week or playoff game.

The game was what i thought it would be, was suprised that our coach pulled starters and let Second teamers get some playing time. Thought we PNGs defense got off to a shakey start but settled down and played decent. SILSBEE was just deflated going out into second half for sure. Like i told you earlier Soulja1 Silsbee dodged a bullet last year. WILL be a tough preseason for the Tigers, Newton up this week then Nederland , might start out 0-3 but will be salty come time for District.

Defineatly felt confident going into the game, new it would be a tough one by the way Ned played PAM. Once again, a loss ,looking back on the game in the first half turnovers and not finishing drives killed us, i think we threw two picks and ned had 1 fumble. We have to clean up our little mental mistakes and we will be alright.

I dont think it us in Shugs bliid to split time with his successor, hes a fierce competitor and will do what he does, i hope the wideouts do step up as you said, but the rbs have to step it up too, Defense still has a lot to prove, thus district will be tough.
