Great run & physical play to get in the endzone by #2. I will take a DB getting trucked when hes fighting through a block & making an effort to stop a runner at the goal line any day. If we gonna talk about a player & icu comments getting trucked to embarress a player then we can talk about the many more good plays #15 made in the game including  several deep pass attempts in the redzone by png that were unsuccessful becuz of blanket coverage by #15.  As far as the icu comment, it will take just as many good hits as Mr. Johnson took in the mcm game & quite a bit more to get #15 off the field.  Also might want to check the passing stats QB #2 has had the last 3 years versus Ned DB's led by #15. Will not be much to brag about for such a highly ranked "DUAL Threat qb. Congrats on your little bros win over Nederland well earned & well deserved. best wishes to Mr. Johnson & png in the playoffs.

It doesnt matter is he passed or ran the truth of the matter is he owned Ned all three years that he called snaps. Your defense hasnt stopped him at all in the last three years. Say what you want secondary didnt have anything to do as far as stopping the passing game. You dont fix what aint broke, if Shug toting the rock works and Ned Cant stop it why throw the ball. We attempted 1 deep pass and guess what your cb got burnt and our guy made the catch. Pretty self explanotory.  You have to admit poor lil fella got runover although he was truly fighting off a block . Pretty sure in the three years he has played he probably has 1000 plus yards against Big Ned. Just Saying. Hope yall dont play flat like you did this past week . Good luck to the dogs and hope yall get back to good ole Bulldog football. MCM is over time to pull for both midcounty teams

Willowridge has a QB that can run the read option well. From what I can see we have to keep him in the pocket and contain. Force him to pass play to our strength. The grass will slow down their offense. I’m sure playing in that district all games were played on turf. We will see how they adjust to it

Hopefully our offense gets going and stays hot, establish the run game early.

You mean the watered down field lol gonna be a slop bowl. HEARD this team has never played on real grass . Any truth to that?

I think back to when PNG played Manvel when Manvel was New. PNG played great hanging with Manvel, but Manvel pulled away late. This reminds me of that year. Same with Ned a few years back. I was at both of those games. Try to play keep away and hope for turnovers.

    Yes that is true

Yall can make up that 4 points somewhere! :)

They will need an Ipad lmao

  5. It seems like he just started his first game on Varsity and now his last game at the Rez will be next week. This young man absolutely has amazed me week in and week out. I thought for sure this year would be a struggle losing our go to guy last year, not to mention 7 on 7 wasnt going well with all the drops. He has broken just about every record there is to break and still not done. He has been an inspiration and a true leader on the field and off. I hate to see him go but at the same time am anxious to see where he goes in his college years. Cant wait for the rest of the world to see what he can do. The sky is the limit. Good luck on the next chapter of your football career, hookem!! SCALPEM!!

Barbers Hill is a great ball club you will see Friday but they lost QB1 so they might be different. WOS was a kids first start at QB and still pulled off the win. Anytime you go to WOS and win it’s a quality win. Santa Fe played us tough, very chippy game kinda like what y’all had against them on Friday from what I am hearing, but doesn’t matter we find ways to win. Nederland doesn’t usually ever just flat out blow out teams we run the ball, control the ball and chew up the clock and grind out the teams. Don’t agree to it, but I can’t complain we find ways to win. And we are undefeated. If it’s not broke don’t fix it type of thing. The dogs are young all over field.

I figured someone would respond . In the end it doesnt matter a win is a win. All im saying is anything can happen on Friday Nights. Im not looking past Barbers Hill at all. They always play us tough no reason for them not to tonight. Ned will have to deal with Crosby tonight. If Crosby runs the ball i think they can have some success. If they get away from that could be bad for them. AS bad as our defense has played. No one in the district has stopped our offense. I dont see Barbers Hill stopping us either. I look for a shootout. If PNG should walk out with the win i would assume they secure a playoff spot. Hard not to look ahead till next week but we have to focus on tonight as it is all about Barbershill tonight!

  7. Should be a good game. I like PNGs chances. Because of this ipad bs it just makes this game so much more important to go there and take care of business.  Every possession will count especially the team who has the last possession. Could very well be the deciding factor when the final whistle blows.

So that’s the excuse for the poor defense the last three or four years?

There is no excuse for our defense the last 3 or four years. But there is one for our offense. I keep hearing how good neds defense is this year not that they are or have been bad. But Nederland has squeeked by a few teams this year.  SANTE FE just give up late in the fourth qt, Barbers Hill was a play or two from a Win, WOS by a point. So as i see it anything can happen on Friday Nights. This District proved to be very competitive this year and the scenarios are just as crazy so far. Should be a lil clearer after this Friday Night.

Shug,Shug,Shug,Shug..Sounds like PNG is a one trick pony!!

That one trick pony is a stud. Players like him dont come around too often. He is a sensational player and has some weapons to help him. CEJAS is a speedster but does drop some easy sure catches. Runningback by committee gets the job done. Other wideouts do their part as well. Dont see your defense slowing our offense down. But i can see the eagles moving the ball as well. Guess we will see come Friday night. Have a feeling you will here Cherokee playing loud and often all four quarters. Get ready the one trick pony known as Shug is coming and bringing a tribe with him.

Ya'll better thank that defensive player that sacked our QB on ya'lls 11 yard line in the closing seconds. Don't be purple blinded. We played crappy at QB spot, ya'll didn't have an RB and so BF ran Shug till his tongue was hanging out. PNG was super lucky to escape with a W at Lamar. That game was suppose to be a blowout for PNG, just like ya'll predicting this year. I give the edge to PNG this year because of Shug, but don't be surprised if ya'll leave with an L is all i'm saying.

His tongue wasnt hanging lol that was just a walk in the park lol. Should be a good game but i thought last week to against Sante Fe and they were escorted to the woodshed with splinters hanging off their britches. The Hill always plays PNG tough but they always seem to lose kinda like Vidor. Just a bad matchup for them ,PNG rolls and the hill notches another L !
