  1. what time is the scrimmage and when?
  2. no kidding huh, it will be interesting maybe, curious how the RB and backups do, pretty sure we will see Johnson get his # called a few times lol
  3. congrats to him would love to see him back home where he belongs, man that kid could ball!!!
  4. no I don't hold back. I do have high expectations though. Once again not my kid, I only have one and her momma took her to Vidor :-( . worst case scenario Vidor gets one hell of a cheerleader in about 5-6 years lol I just say whats on my mind. With that being said our defense is what I always question, heard some good things here and there, just have to wait and see.
  5. I said that, seems the others may have quoted me and confused you. To answer your question he is not my kid, if he was he wouldn't have a problem catching the ball. I would have sent him to every football camp out there, and worked with him every day. To his credit I do see potential just hope he has matured with age and ready to go beast mode. With our Sophomore QB it should be fun because this fellow has some wheels also and should keep defense honest and open up opportunities for Mczeal. I am hoping he has a very big year along with the other wideouts. I will say this the wr s have been a steady constant the last 7 years or so, seems like there is always a Rose, Dron, or a Mcgown waiting in the ranks. Hell anything can happen cant blame me for being optimistic anyway. I just hope the kid has a better year than his last two and stay healthy. only time will tell
  6. Lol I'm not in denial, I know where we are at wide receiver, and you are right , the one going to the faggies has to learn to catch the damn ball. He has all the talent in the world but for god sakes at least catch more than you drop. He has potential to take it to the house every time he touches the ball, but that is the problem he just touches and drops them instead of catching them. He seems to make all the difficult ones, It is the easy ones that he drops
  7. field looks great!!!!! helmets well they are just helmets lol
  8. I think the little guy is fishing, no doubt he will show up sooner or later, What about ole Brenhamfan where is that dude haven't heard from him in years lol
  9. Hell with all that size and talent the tigers should Run my PNG team out the park, sounds like we are in trouble lol
  10. that's one big QB might have the strongest arm but how much control and how accurate is he. It may be a close game I don't know, but I am still going with WOS. With that being said anyone can win on Friday night, where is the game being played?
  11. man WOS is loaded to the hilt, I see smoke town getting run out of the stadium, cant believe you actually think The tigers have a chance smh
  12. hell I myself didn't know this. Bet that was a fun ride for them
  13. if that does happen I hope it is on Saturday night so I can go watch it should be a good game. I looked at our schedule, they have got our bye scheduled different than they have in the past, don't like changing up the schedules like that lol
  14. think someone is pulling our legs lol
  15. This could be a bad year for PNG unfortunately I don't know what kind of depth we have at any position to be honest, The QB position we have two both young and really unproven although I hear good things about both of them. RB heard we are down to back up and a list of who might can get the job done. The offense and defensive lines are both suspect, think we are good at the WR position although we lost some really good talent due to graduation. Haven't heard about the secondary pretty sure we are young at that position too , Lejune and Robinson will need a lot of help. Kicker is in question don't have any info on him at all I'm sure we will see a lot of directional pooch kicking as we have seen the last 8 years or so. With this assumption I'm really not sure if we can even rap up a #4 spot at best. Just my opinion as we have a lot of unanswered questions this year. I guess the spotlight will be on Johnson, can he come out on the field as a sophomore and be the field general that we need him to be, and somewheres amongst this team find a RB that can move the chains when called upon. Can honestly say I think we will need some players going both ways at some point in time.
  16. I was under the impression also that Mayfield was the starter? What is this rumor that he is no longer on the team?
  17. im glad you are optimistic, I myself and just curious to see how the season folds out.
  18. I will be the one to say you hit the nail on the head, since Brandon Faircloth arrived, after that first year, we haven't had that much success at defense, and its downright discouraging that he plays his best players on offense and leaves little attention to the defense. I think players that are capable of going both ways should. Just my opinion though.
  19. yes you are right we couldn't stop the running game of Angleton. But you cant judge one teams matchup on how you did against them vs how bad we did against them. Ned gave yall all you wanted last year and Crosby was able to pull away late in the 4th qt. Ned beat us with a last minute fieldgoal. Just goes to show some teams match up differently than others. You are right though our defense is very suspect and has been for years. Our coaching concentrates on offense and the defense is left hanging in the wings. We cant outscore everyone, and into the second round you are usually facing a team that is going to the big show year in and year out. No brainer there.
  20. brutal for us lol, a lot of inexperience on both sides of the ball, don't know much about size, but it seams every year we get smaller and smaller.
  21. sorry man been extremely busy, took a new job in Baytown been working my tail off, if you want to see results you have to put in the time and effort. Man I don't know about this year, we are feeling in key positions, will be young, just hope that they are hungry!
  22. glad to hear he will be ok, looking at photo you would have to wonder how he made it. God is good
  23. well according to his post that is what he was basing It off of was last years team
  24. I'm sorry but for a team with so much talent, didn't yall exit the second round of playoffs last year just as NED and PNG did? You can brag about all the talent you want, but it doesn't come down to who has the most D1 recruits, comes down to team football with no mistakes and execution on both sides of the ball along with coaching! smh
