You are correct, Kirbyville has gone through a lot since last football season.  I am not doubting that in the least.  I am just finding it humorous that a certain Kirbyville poster continues to predict that they will win every game they play.

Why would I predict them to lose every game? As a fan I’m sure most of us on here pick and root for our favorite team. The comment about the last win this season your wrong there Cats win the next 3. Write that down troll.

If that’s a slap in the face then we could of scored more TDs with the players moms and sisters in the stands would that of been better?

I’m sure there were some slow offensive lineman who would have loved to run the ball. I mean put your 11 slowest out there.

They're a bunch of new schools coming in Houston and Dallas, the cutoff number for 5A is going up not down. Cleveland is making the jump. The only way Ozen stays up is if BISD keeps them there. Lumberton will be interesting do they have an alternative school? If so they stay up.

All these schools we used to think of as small that are northeast of Houston (Cleveland Splendora etc) are going to be 6A in a few years because everyone is moving to be near I69 since its so convenient to downtown. Even Livingston will become a big 5A in the next few years.

Beaumont seem like its the only place in Texas not growing. It's so sad.

Beaumont is also the 2nd most dangerous city in the state. Everyone is moving off

Hasn’t Kirbyville put some pretty big beat downs on teams throughout the years?

Jack and Neece have always pulled the dogs off and the clock has been ran no matter what, before the UIL implemented the new rule. I can remember punting on 2nd down numerous times

I’m not from Newton but geez this really was a dumb remark.

Why was it dumb under the new UIL rules if a team is up by 49 or more points after half a running clock is suppose to happen if both coaches agree upon it. It’s hard for me to believe that Crockett did not want this. There are other ways to not run up the score also. Kicking or attempting to kick a FG on 1st down is pretty much a slap in the face of the other team.

Keep your mouth shut if you don’t have a clue what’s going on. It got like that because of Crockett not because Newton wanted it too. Tried to run clock they said no, they kept passing over and over again. So Newton would get a pick or a fumble recovery. Kicked 2 FGs on 1st down. So shut up and worry about trying to win games in Kirbyville and don’t worry about the winners in Newton Tx

    Class act in my book

  7. Was a good game. 22-7 at halftime key INT hurt us right before the half. Was 22-17 with about 4-5 minutes left and they scored on us. Defense had a hard time getting off the field , we gave up lots of sacks tonight and secondary was scared to hit big # 20. They gashed us between the tackles and their QB is very accurate throwing. Nothing special we made mistakes and they capitalized on them. We will learn from our mistakes and get better.
