Uhhhhhhh .... no!  We have a rival, PNG, just in case you didn't know.  Also, EVERY DISTRICT game is circled on our calendar, duh, we get up to play every team ... Vidor is no different, just another opponent.

Good lord I love this thread its like a fine wine getting better with age. This game every year causes folks to disappear from this board for awhile. Living with some of the comments is hard to do after one of these teams lose. I love it. This is what smack talk is all about!!!!!!

Crosby is showing some vulnerability. That win against Nederland is not looking like the huge victory that it was first thought. Angleton does not look as tough as they usually are. Nederland lost by a lager margin to Dayton. Now tonight another not very impressive win. I now believe that the district goes through CE King.  I think Dayton and Crosby will be a bigger game than most believe. Crosby has got a long ways to go to match the team they had last year. They will be in the playoffs I believe but will have to work harder this season.

Good thing crosby has tackling talent on defense & a good run game.The passing game not as advertized.Came away thinking both Humble & Crosby are beatable.Again another game where stats were not as close as the scoreboard ended.A win is a win.Congrats

I don't usually go out on this type of a limb but in this case I am going to: I predict that if Vidor can somehow end up at the end of the game  with atleast one more point than Nederland then they will be the victor. On the other hand if Nederland can pull out the most points they will most certainly walk away the victor. I dont usually make these type predictions but I can assure you that someone will win this game. It is in Vidor but Nederland does have coach Neuman on their side.    LOL

I gonna predict that Dayton beats BH. King will probably beat Cosby. Dayton and Crosby will play in a good game for 2nd aand 3rd place.

I have been back and forth on this game. I visited Nederland last week and was surprised to see what I saw. Nederland has some potential but their lines had better get it together they were not very good this past week against CL. I dont know were to go with this game.so Im not gonna make a prediction. Before last weeks magnificent game against Channelview I would not have given Vidor a chance. Vidor impressed all in district last week myself included. So that leaves me with this question. Which Pirates team will show up? The one who lost by 2 TD's to Jasper or the won who lost to Channelview but in impressive fashion. I will just have to wait this one out. These two teams have alot of growing up to do. I guess we will see which one grows up the fastest.

I know its 2 weeks away but Nederland  Vidor is shaping up to be a great game. This game could have playoff implications for one of these teams even though it the first district game.
