Actually, if they end up tied it will go to a head to head match up first. If they split then they have to play, if one has beaten the other twice, then no game played and that team moves on. So basically Spurger would move on unless something strange was to happen. -

Goodrich is 1st, Leggett is 2nd, High Island and Chester are in a fight for third. High Island has to beat Burkeville tomorrow night and Chester must lose to Goodrich in order for a third place tie. -

This was the worst officals I have ever seen!!! One of the refs was hugging the players from Leggett, he stayed over at their bench laughing and joking with the players and their fans. This guy must have been one of those guys refered to as a ref that went to one meeting and just keeps his dues up. If there is a place where you can report bad refs I would love to know it cause this guy was BAD!!!!

Agree with you on that one, when H.I. went over there a couple of weeks ago, H.I. girls had the lead with a little over a minuter left. Then two phantom calls that went against them (coached watched the film and couldn't see them) and they end up losing by two. Samething in the boys game as well. Just not sure about those officials over there. -

Goodrich girls beat Shekinah 104 - 4, they must of showed some restraint as well. Shekinah is has just five girls playing as of now. -

Was at the game, and not making any excuses for High Island but two very questionable calls in the last 60 seconds of the game was the whole difference. High Island was up four at that point. Beginning to agree with alot of people on here, seems like the refs this year are deciding games instead of letting the kids decide the outcomes ??? Or maybe I'm just reading into this way to much.

I know the High Island coach has his girls lifting twice a week (mondays and wednesdays). They get an hour and half off, before they start practice and it doesn't affect them any. They may lose games, but not because another team is stronger than them, but because they are better athletes.

Yes it was a tough game, but the Lady Cards found a way to win. It did hurt, not having that senior leadership at the pg position. But that little one held her own tonight. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Actually, we have gotten our gym fixed up, new floor and other things coming. And fans are about the same anywhere you go.
