I agree with that as well, my kid would not be sitting for a while.  As for the players and coaches who attacked the ref, suspended for the rest of the year or just basically banned from playing sports all together.  No room for that all.

Both teams coming of bad loses, and HI losing some more kids to injury.  Have to go with Colmesneil on this one.

Thing is, no one can get it through his head and make him understand that the past is the past.  We all understand that HD was good in the 70's (one state championship), 80's and 90's.  But look at the present and Evadale not HD has been the one making news.  I believe they have two championships (basketball, baseball (I could be wrong)) and HD has none.  End of story

Evadale may not have as much football history as hull, but there athletic program is by far one of the best in SETX. When was the last time the Bobcats won district in all 3 sports?

Don't know who is worse on here, you or the kids.  Evadale would still beat the dog out of your precious Bobcats who will probably have their best team in years (wait you say that every year).

They will be the same.  Dominate the district, win that first round game and then possibly meet up with Falls City again.  Maybe they will pull it out this year

Does anyone know why the above schools were grouped as a "District" participating in kountze and the following more "local" schools below were grouped in a "district" that competed in Zavala.

I know for me it was 70 miles one way (for 2 days) to Zavala, not to mention we passed several of those schools coming all the way here where as Zavala would have been in their back yard as Kountze would have been for the latter 3 schools. Not much consideration on UIL's part.

You've got #2 (Neches) vs. #3 (Goodrich), this should be a very good game.  Just to bad that it had to take place this early in the playoffs.  After seeing Goodrich this year already, and not seeing Neches.  I would give the early nod to Goodrich, but you never know what can happen.  So good luck to both teams, and the winner of this game should make it all the way to the state tourny in my opinion.
