    20-7 SV up in 3rd quarter. Why is Cole Frauenberger always on the sidelines on offense??! You ain’t gotta be a brain surgeon, kid is a play maker! Frauenberger and BJ should never come off the field! SMH!

    I’d say BJ Peterson rushed for over 200 yards easily. Kid is one of the best RB’s in SETX.

    Coming from an outsider.  Bj Is that good. Tarick is that good.  As a dual they are pretty dang good.  But HD better find a way to use a couple other athletes i seen on the field last night. It will be a short run as soon as they face a stout defense   
    I watched Bj run against some damn good 6A defenses last year. He has the tools.

    HD is the 2nd best team in the District, everyone in the District is way way behind San Augustin. HD’s RB’s, BJ Peterson and Terrick Peterson are elite RB’s. This is HD’s deepest team in years, as far as athletic depth, lots of the Bobcats are just scrappy ball players.

    SA is not the same team from last year. Although they do have good squad ,  i believe they will be exposed on the outer edge by the HD rb’s. Only concern to me is HD stopping their offense. I see a high scoring game if Hd holds onto the ball. I see a 48-34 game, Hd with the W. As far as the Cushing game goes that all of you have jumped on, that was a game Hd should have won but the 1st half killed them. And their a whole lot better this year. They were even decent last year. Just couldn’t get the w In district. But games were close according  to the Cushing ppl.

    HD may shock some folks. SA has been a beast the last 7 years or so.

    SA has some studs! But HD’s Peterson brothers may be 2 of the top duo RB’s in the State.

    I know there will be some that are going to jump all over this, but here goes anyways; I think that HD has a team that can pull off the upset.  Offensive line will be the key group in this game, if they can get a push they could make it a long night for SA defense.

    On paper this is no contest.  It will take the perfect game from HD to keep it close and have a chance to win.  Will it happen? Not sure, but I can hope.  Upsets happen every Friday night.

    That’s what Hardin did.  Now you guys are about to play a game against a group of kids that at least have some confidence and know what it feels like to win.  That’s huge in the mind of a teenage athlete.

    Actually, i am from Lafeyette....grew up in Evadale and now life in Liberty...so i’m free to tell you how horrible HD is and has been

    SA is huge on the lines. Very young at the skill positions.  Very athletic  and have a rb that is quick. Played a tough nondistrict schedule.

    Not making excuses... but a DL compared to the RB that has been responsible for probably 80% of your offense..  not comparable. Now with him does Kountze win? Not what I’m saying... but i bet the score is a lot different

    Evadale’s graduation hit them hard the last 2 seasons, the Pirates are just a tad better.
