    Scary thing is, HD had 5 starting lineman out this game with injuries... HD basically started a JV line both ways... Burkeville has 3 move in players, all 3 were good skill athletes, bad thing is BV just doesn’t have the numbers.

    I believe Hull-Daisetta has a good chance to beat Shelbyville and go down to the wire with Groveton. Would not be surprised if HD upsets some folks and finishes 2nd in District, 3rd at worst. Of course San Augustine is on another level.

    HD has alway paid good, it helps to have ExxonMobil and Keyera pipeline/storage facilities. HD is in the top tier in 2A.

    BJ Peterson of GCM Baytown. Kid is a stud, potential college RB in the future. Rushed for about 1,500 yards as a 14 year old freshman at HD, rushed for over 1,000 yards at 6A GCM last year. Big junior year coming up at GCM, his brother Terrick could be better than him... Scary!

    Thing is, HD played that game with mostly Sophmores and some Freshman. HD only had 3 Seniors! Morgan Price, Clinton McGee, Shawn Taylor, Cole Fraunberger, Jason Shane and Kyle Fregia will all be back.

    HD fought hard! 1st time I’ve seen a ref single handedly help a team get 2 scores (Timpson). HD dominated Timpson all night in the trenches. HD Center #55 Ryan Downs, played on an All-State level tonight, against one of the best D-linemen in the area. HD QB Bryce Fregia was explosive, such a good athlete. Total team effort, HD played together. Turnovers killed us. Timpson knew they were in a dog fight, they knew they got hit in the mouth. We were picked to get beat by 50 by most people... HD Nation fought! I tip my hat to Timpson they were the better team at the end of the night, good luck in next round...
