  1. Anybody wanna predict the district opponents HD will fall into play with??? And go! This should be interesting to see who is closest on the predictions.
  2. Last time it was if your over 157 your D-1, they usually go up a little, probably if your over 164 your D-1...
  3. Sabine Pass on film appears to have one of their better teams in years, they have a few athletes. Although we all know a real good Iola team spanked them Friday night. SP will be no easy game for HD, but it will be a winnable game for the HD Bobcats. QB #2 and RB/WR #4 for SP are the go to players for the sharks, both these athletes can take it to the house. If the Bobcats are able to key on #4 and spy on QB #2, the Bobcats should be able to get the win Friday night, locking in a playoff spot. I believe HD’s physical running style they used vs WH and Colmesneil, will be to much for the sharks as the game goes on. HD has the ability the mix it up with #14 QB Fregia connecting deep with #9 Whiddon, keeping most defenses honest. The Bobcats offensive timing and execution looked good last week, when mixing in #21 Villanueva and #5 Taylor in the backfield, both kids looked explosive behind HD’s massive O-line. The offensive play calling was exceptional and on point, very aggressive and calculated, with a little chocolate, not the usual vanilla. The defense once again, like most of the season was salty, swarming to the ball, with aggressive calls.
  4. HD got back to its strength last night, running power football, mixed with some passing from QB Bryce Fregia to WR Hayden Whiddon. No doubt if HD doesn't abandon their identity vs Evadale, going to the spread in a week’s time, HD plays a competitive game vs Evadale. I’m not saying HD couid have beaten Evadale, but for sure a better, closer game. Last night HD’s massive O-line dominated in the trenches, with massive 6’3 300lb lineman #55 Ryan Downs making the agile switch from Tackle to Center on short notice. The HD O-line allowed Shawn Taylor and Gavin Villanueva to use their athletic skills, busting running plays open all night. It’s definitely good to see HD finding it’s true identity and buying into it. HD has a chance to lock in a playoff spot vs a much improved Sabine Pass team next Friday night. Good win Bobcats!
  5. Mark Krimm is the head football Coach, as of 2014, Trey Austin is the head basketball coach.
  6. A tall bald headed white guy looked to be the head Coach. A parent did tell me Ward played there for a few years in high school, then transferred.
  7. HD ran into a buzz saw last night! That Houston Westbury Christian team is loaded with freakish talent. I would put money on it, Westbury could play with and probably beat any team in HD's area, yes even Liberty and Dayton. Westbury is known for being a basketball power year in and year out. Last night you could definitely see the Westbury talent. #52 DE for Westbury was listed at 6'4 240, he was by far the best player on the field, for sure a D-1 talent. Westbury had a TE at 6'8 250, an OT at 6'10 250, and all their skill players looked like Michael Vick in college lol, very fast team, we will not see that fast in District. Evadale, Iola, hell even Liberty, vs Westbury an easy win for Westbury hands down. Not sure why we scheduled them, I heard Warren had fell through...? We were blessed to not have any injuries I know of... Now both Evadale and HD has got a butt whooping this year, time to face off vs each other in District next week.
  8. Actually it's not Westbury Christian... It's Houston Westbury Christian lol.
  9. HD will travel to Houston Baptist University tonight to face Houston Westbury at 7pm. It should be an electric night as the Bobcats players get to play in a college stadium on turf. HD will be getting back two injured players WR/FS #5 Taylor and DL #70 Fregia. HD will need to get QB #14 Fregia rolling, and his supporting cast of RB/WR #9 Whiddon, RB/FB #33 McGee, WR #21 villanueva and WR #5 Taylor going. The Bobcats hopefully will continue to use #33 McGee more with power running and on defense the kid is a hitter. The O-line has some good holes being opened up by the 6'3 300lb OT #55 Downs, I'm sure the Bobcats will develop more plays to his side, the big man has been winning in the trenches all season. If HD gets QB Fregia comfortable with some good play calling on the ground and in the air, the HD defense continues to be salty, HD will get the win. HD 28 Houston Westbury 13
  10. HD 48 Evasmell 46 In Evadale, with cupcakes and ice cream melting away, NO 100th win for Coach that night!!! Lmao! There was crickets though, lots and lots.
  11. When you get blowed out by that score, there is nothing you can say. Now, if it was like 6-12 points maybe...
  12. Both teams played D-Ville about the same... Who knows..
  13. I remember HD's offense had a fumble and interception for sure. HD's defense picked off D-Ville two times.
  14. Ouch! Been a while since Evadale had a team blow them out, I think mostly due to a weak schedule every year. I bet Evadale didn't see them Hornets as this loaded and ready. HD played Hemphill in a scrimmage the 1st week this season, the Hornet QB is an RG3 look alike, the RB looks like Jerome Bettis. Hemphill has some speed at positions all over. Doesn't mean much at all, but Hemphill beat HD 2 scores to 0 in our live game scrimmage. Also based on D-Ville, the HD vs Evadale game should be competitive.
  15. HD's 1st team District selection DE/TE from last year #99, re-injured his groin in the 1st half, his Parents said he may be out the rest of season. Also, HD only really played 2 quarters vs D-Ville, HD Coaches made great half time adjustments. HD come alive in 2nd half. If HD would have spread D-Ville out in 1st half, HD wins this game. Gotta give the Pirates credit, they were ready to shutdown HD's offense in 1st half. The D-Ville passing attack was able to capitalize on HD's best secondary player #5 being out with concussion protocol. Bottom line, one heck of a game from both teams, HD is not as bad as folks thought. The Bobcats have a good scrappy defense, the QB is a play maker, #9 is an athlete that needs the ball more, #33 needs to slide in and take over for #99 on both sides of the ball, no brainer. HD will make the playoffs and could give Iola and Evadale all they want, in what lots of locals say is a down year for the Bobcats.
  16. HD scores at regulation and gets the 2 point conversion! 16-16 OT!
  17. True lol. Although the other 25 are like 5'2 130lbs lol.
