It's hard to look at this season as just a one-off, but I hope it is.

That's the million dollar question. Jasper didn't just run out of good athletes.

Outscored 348-39. As bad as this year has been, I can't imagine going through that.

It's been a long time. There were some really bad teams in the 60's.

We're going to have trouble beating anyone left on the schedule. 1-9 is definitely possible. I hate saying that, but the team looks lifeless right now.

I picked us in the poll, but I really don't know much about WO-S right now. All I know is that a win would be good for us. I was pretty high on Coach Crumedy after the playoff run a few years ago and I like him, but I don't know what changed since then. He came in as an OC from Manvel that consistently averaged 50 ppg and we haven't seen anything close to that with the Bulldogs. Good coaches don't forget how to coach. Anybody have any insight on this??

The effort just isn't there. I was nauseated watching the Carthage game even though I expected the game to go the way it did.

I was able to watch the stream and your friend is correct. Jasper isn't even competitive at times. It's frustrating. I remember complaining about the lack of winning outside of football and I was told that it doesn't really matter what those sports do as long as football was successful. What happens when that tanks like this?

It's been a while since Jasper has struggled like this consistently. Carthage is just in another class. We have to regroup over this open week and get ready for West Orange on the 10th. Go Dawgs!!

I saw that Jasper is a 24-point underdog in this game per DCTF. I don't know who we have due to not being in the area, but is there any way that it's more competitive than that?

That all makes sense. As long as Wade is at McNeese, he'll get players. Most teams have height. I just wish they'd find a guy that has some baby fat on him that can move people and play in the paint.

You would know a lot more about this than I do, so here goes. How hard is it to find a bully like James Gulley? It seems to me that someone like him that you could depend on inside would make them a lot better.

The intensity of our games makes it fun, probably because I didn't have to roll anybody. I was a trainer in my time at JHS and those games were throw downs. It was the same with WOS, but they've been just as big a rival since they joined 4A in '86.

This should have been a good year for us.
