He was posting just to keep the blood flowing in those fingers. WOS players don't believe this. 😂😂

Maybe not but there is a point of pride.  If you can make Coach Sig keep the starters in more than he'd planned then you've got a moral victory anyway.  That's what Bridge City did back in December.  Course the Tigers were in transition from football back then. I think BC pulled to within 9 at some point in the 3rd.  The fans were definitely surprised.  WOS might be able to do the same.

  2. If the Tigers are hitting on all cylinders it will be around a 30 point win.  The usual storyline is the worthy challenger hangs tough till some point in the 3rd and then it slips away from them.  But if the Tigers have an off night it could get interesting.  Either way it will be fun and worth watching.

  3. The coach's poll has Eastern Hills at No. 1.  Yet they lost to Southlake Caroll who isn't on the poll's 6A top 25.  If EH really is a tad better than Faith Family then this is going to be very interesting year in 4A.  Caroll is a team that all of the 4A top 10 could be competitive with on a given night.  So there aren't any monsters in 4A this year?

Or is FF just toying with us all?

Let's make something perfectly clear. Miller is great, but he is not Silsbee's best basketball player and he will tell you that himself.

    Harris is da man

Indeed.  Miller is the heart of the team but Harris is the most talented.  In fact I think he has as yet untapped potential.  He made a couple of full court passes with style that were a little reminiscent of Jokić last night.

I have a question.  Does anybody know what was the tech against Harris for?  I saw the block but missed what happened afterwards. I assume it was justified but he looked genuinely mystified and not in just a "who me?" kind of way.

I figured the Cardinals would wilt a little at some point.  You just can't keep up maximum intensity whole way.  And the moment it started to slip the Tigers pounced.  But in years past it could have been 45 points or even worse.  That didn't happen, BC altered that script.  Silsbee didn't pull away until late and starters and important subs played until less that 3 minutes was left.  I was impressed.  Based on what I saw and what's happened so far around the district I'd have to agree that BC can be the 2nd place team.
