  1. Geeze you can't stay on top of the District forever ! Lumberton will be just fine. You can't lose 2 All-State players and expect to win the District again the following year. Although Courtney and Chelsie may not have done it alone, I think if you look at the stats, they were probably the top 2 in every category. Not to mention (like Slam said) they were the true leaders of the team for years ! Its hard for a team to replace girls that led them for several years. Lumberton will compete for a play-off spot this year and after this GROWING season, they will compete for the District Title again. With Coach Wilson prowling the sidelines, they will always be a tough contest and be one of the better teams in the area. I don't think having one normal season is a reason to go into panic mode !
  2. Hard to say. Both teams need a win in a big way. I think it depends on what LCM team shows up and how many times we throw the ball away ! Whoever takes care of the ball the best will win this one for sure. I'm going with LCM because they are at Home.
  3. At this point I think the district will end like this : 1. Central 2. Ozen 3. Dayton 4. Lumberton, Nederland, or PNG The rest I won't discuss at this time... ;D
  4. LCM has done that a couple of times this year. It sure is nice to be able to see both Varsity teams at the same place.
  5. Way to go Kelly ! Keep up the good work. Hannah and Becky ya'll keep up the good work ! ;D
  6. This was a VERY UGLY game for LCM. Never were in the game. Way to many turnovers.
  7. I have to agree, this game will be awesome ! Both teams can get up and down the floor. I think that Ozen will pull out an upset though. They have some very talented kids !
  8. I agree that Central will coast through this district. Ozen and dayton have to be the next 2 teams, but it depends on which team shows up for each game. Nederland is a much improved team but, I don't see them beating Ozen or Dayton. LCM is very in-consistant, but if they develop some consistancy in a hurry they could make a push. Lumberton can never be over-looked. They have a great Little dribblers program and a good Coach. If you look past them they'll surprise you.
  9. I agree, LCM will win in a close one. ;D
  10. I thought West Brook was a merger between Forest Park and Hebert ???
  11. How can Kirbyville be the Suppossed (sp) District Champs, when WOS hasn't lost a 3A District game EVER?? Until someone can beat them they should be considerred the District favorite year end and year out.
  12. I have to agree. If the team that showed up last Friday at PNG shows up LCM is in deep TROUBLE !!!! >
  13. Better question is how in the world did he get voted to the 2ND TEAM ??? ??? OOOPS !
  14. Don't know who the running back is, but the Quarterback is Oliver Luck's Son and he is the one getting all the hype out of Stratford. Sam McGuffie is the running back out of Cypress Fairbanks. He is AWESOME!!!!! He's going to Michigan. Luck is going to Stanford.
  15. I have to agree. Great job PNG Coaching Staff. It's gotta be hard to sit your best running back out for such a big game. Maybe he will learn a valuable lesson. Good Luck Friday !
  16. Bishop was a one man wrecking crew ! He did everything. Punted , played Linebacker, quarterback and was also the Kicker.
  17. How about........ Hey Ref that's a whistle in your mouth not a passifier. Your supposed to BLOW in it !!!
  18. You two have got to get a LIFE !!! OMG, watching grown men riding a bicycle ?? Makes me wonder if BC has some hidden tendencies (SP) ;D
  19. I think that Lumberton will be fine. They still have allot of talented younger players and a good coach.
  20. Congrats Kirby!! I know Pop is very proud !
  21. I like that one Slam14 !! Couldn't get any better than that. ;D
