Dugas - LCM, hands down the best Utility player !

No doubt, with Cody on the mound LCM would still win. But would they be 31 - 2 and in the Regional Semi-Finals ?? I don't know ! :scratch Cody was able to pitch as a Sophmore and we only made it to the Quarter-finals.

Mecaela Ballard - PNG I don't know any stats, but she always seemed to find a way to get on base against us (LCM). Blazing speed with a good glove and a Totally Awesome arm.

CODY TRAHAN (If she doesn't get the MVP) For her stats check out the MVP nomination. She is the most dominant Pitcher not only in this area but in the entire State. I can't imagine anyone being better than she is. :shock:

There's not a team in the area that can lose their number 1 pitcher and still be in the playoffs ! That goes for baseball as well.

Samara Bean - LCM LCM is the only team left in the play-offs in the area ! She must be doing something right ! She came into the job at the last minute and has the team playing at the top of their game.

CODY TRAHAN - LCM STATS (Not including Play-offs and Warm up games) Lead the District(probably the whole State as well) in every category in Pitching !! ERA : .04 :shock: Opponent Average : .049 :shock: Total K's (Not including playoffs) 313 :shock: Only gave up 1 earned run all year!! Also, had several game winning hits again this year!! Batting Average : .483 No one else comes close !!

LCM 1 Kilgore 0 in 13 innings. Can't possibly get any better or more dramatic than this one!! :shock:

The new Rankings are out from the TGCA. LCM dropped from #4 to #8 for some reason ?? PNG made a big jump to # 11 and Nederland is # 13. Barbers Hill is #5 and Bridge City is #12 in 3A.

I can't wait till April 11th !!! This game should tell who will win the District in 4A. (LCM vs PNG). Then of course depending on what happens in this game, the game on April 13th will be huge, when LCM travels to Nederland. Very big week for LCM !!

Back around 1978, I was a Sophomore, pitching for LCM. We were playing PNG at PNG's park. David Frye hit a homerun off of me that landed in the Tennis Courts behind Left Center field. All I could do was turn and smile !! What a shot, and what a welcome to Varsity!
