Yes they did go last year. And they got beat in the semi-final game. I think they can go again this year, and I for one would love to see it. Great group of Young Ladies, with good attitudes !

I wouldn't say cry babies ! I heard the Dayton fans crying just as much. However, this is supposed to be Basketball. If you want a football game then lets put some pads on and get after it. Its bad when you have 3 referees and two of the three make a different call on the same play several times during the game. But, regardless of how the game was called, Dayton won and they just plain beat LCM. No excuses. Ya'll took LCM out of their game and just plain out hustled them all game long. Ya'll have definitely improved from the 1st time we met. Good Luck with the rest of the season!

The top 4 teams in each District are tough. Those games could go either way. One things for sure, there will be several good teams sitting at home when the playoffs start and there will be even more siting after the 1st week of the play-offs. Barbers Hill has to be considerred the top team with all they have returning. They also probably have the best pitcher in the area. Dayton in the other District should be tough as well. Huffman, is always tough. But the other 3 teams in 22 - 4A are always strong (Nederland, LCM, & PNG) These 3 always make the playoffs and they have all come to expect to make the playoffs. SO regardless of how many they lost from last years teams they will still be strong and they will all still EXPECT to make the play-offs.

I've got to go with the Lady Bears !! After the way they played last night they will be tough the rest of the way out. However, Dayton does scare me with the athletes they have ! I pick LCM by 3 - 5 points. (Another nail biter)

I think it has to do with the UIL. They only want one game during the school week. So Friday is used since there is no school on Saturday. I guess they could split up Tuesday's games though.

I'm not sure, but I would like to know also what everyones record is in District.

I have to go with Last night's LCM win over Ozen. Nobody gave them a chance on winning that game except Coach Ellerbee and some die hard fans ! Can't be anymore shocking than to knock off one of the top 3 teams in the District at their own gym with 2 seconds left on the clock !

It is a shame that the Lumberton Girls don't have the fan support. The fans in Lumberton are sure missing a very good ball team with alot of CLASS!! I for one will be there to watch them when the play-offs start. And I'm sure I'm not the only LCM fan that will be there.

Man what a game ! Lady Bears played some serious "D" all night long and managed to make a Free Throw with 2 seconds left to win the game ! Great Job girls, couldn't have asked for a better game !!

Very DIS-APPOINTING game > :(. The LAdy Bears came out the first half and played great defense with alot of intensity. They forced alot of turnovers and easy buckets.However, when the second half started, the intensity was gone and PNG had a field day!! The girls did not get after it like they did in the 1st half and it cost them in the long run. I guess they showed their age. Congrats to PNG, for not giving up and working hard to come up with the win. They played a very inspired 2nd half and took the game away from LCM.
