Obviously the L-Train would have taken a big L against Boerne if they would have played them. But I can't help but be happy that Chappell Hill got B-slapped last night. Sometimes you get to see fan bases get what they deserve. Not always, but last night was one of them.

I looked at the 10 year forecast. With the growth going on in Texas, especially with the numbers pouring through our southern border, this just looks like numbers that would keep pace with the upper limit of 4A D1. Maybe if this turns out to be true, they squeeze into 5A D2 in or around 2030. Maybe! This doesn't show the growth at the exponential rate that say, the Austin area or even Barbers Hill has seen in recent years.

According to Cal preps Lumberton 2022 (34) 2007 (21)
Would you bet your entire fortune on every prediction Calpreps makes. They aren’t that great at predicting games between teams in the same season. I don’t try to make a living like they do with rating high school teams and predicting winners. I bet Calpreps has never had one of their people watch a Lumberton game so they didn’t get their eyes on either team.

Well, Stafford had a good game plan on the defensive side of the ball and held us to a low score. Next week the guys have to tighten up on those penalties some more although I thought the one pass interference was questionable, I thought it was actually an offensive pass interference and the facemask I kind of thought was incidental. We have the talent to beat these guys, we just need to get the attitude to beat them. We're picked to win by Calpreps 38-35. Just for a little bit of trivia since the first time we got this far was in 2007, I diid a match up and it came out 2022 Lumberton Raiders 35 - 2007 Lumberton Raiders 22.
The debate of 2022 vs 2007 is, and will always be, nothing more than speculation and who is better can’t be proved. However, for my money, 2007 is better. They were playing up a classification against better competition, IMHO! If this team brings home a state championship, then that might change my mind.

I just tried to go to link to vote for him, but he is not listed. I think I am too late. RoJo is the heart of the Texas team. Extremely tough and talented kid with a huge heart. Hoping he has a long and successful career in the NFL!

Does anyone know what the rules are for students transferring from one school to another as far as their eligibility for the following year. It seems I can point to several examples that have all been handled completely different.
Like it is for the NCAA now, it is a free for all and has been for a while. I have heard many stories through the years where the "richer" programs in the state have been able to "offer" jobs that are close to the district to the parent(s) so the family can move their kid in. Probably hasn't happened nearly as much at all in the Golden Triangle as it has happened in the larger schools in Houston/DFW/Austin areas. It's nothing new!

4A D1 Area
#6 Lumberton (10-1) vs Stafford (7-4)
Friday 11/18 7:30pm
BISD Memorial Stadium
I wouldn't have picked this game location. I would have rather it been Provost Umphrey if each team was choosing a location close to home other than the home stadium for the flip.

How much are you going to pony up to help pay to railroad Jimbo's arse out of College Station?

Chapel Hill was a 4 seed last year with a freshman QB and freshman RB. They won the region and almost knocked off LBJ in the semi's. They are much better this year.
Why did they lose 2 games, one of which was to Van?

Well to be honest SOC is The Mecca, they actually call themselves that, shirts and arm sleeves and more...... Been that for years. Lol
Isn’t this their first deep run in the playoffs in quite awhile? Hard to be a Mecca with a mediocre resume.

Interesting that the old Midland Lee, now Legacy, is the only 6A school in the rankings that is not in the 4 largest greater metro areas of the state. The power in the top classification has long ago shifted to those areas. Gone for the most part are the days of the smaller metros having great teams. Beaumont and Longview did have the 2 teams in the 6A Div II championship a few years ago, but that was an aberration over the last 20 or so years.

Everyone should go to the World Economic Forum website and read up on the Great Reset. This is the future of the world and the USA! Very scary stuff!!

Yikes, we all knew it was probably going to happen though. They were pretty close last time right?
Hearing that there has been growth in the last few years. District has a bond issue up in the next few weeks for additional classroom space and facilities and a tear down and rebuild of the original High School building.

Hearing from a Family member in the Lumberton District that the High School enrollment is right at 1,300. Looks like they will be moving back up to 5A for the next realignment if that is accurate.

I will be at the game in press box. I'll see if it gets filled.
I agree, this stadium will suffice.
Here's hoping that Beaumont proves us wrong and shows up in force. It has been a long time since a school from the GT has gone this far in the top classification. I really like that no DFW or Houston school has made the final 4 of 6A DII.

I know that Katy Legacy is a fantastic stadium, but am I the only one who thinks the seating capacity might be a little small for this game? Pulling for Brook to go all the way!! Would like to see an all East Texas final!!

If Saban was a good person, he would lobby publicly and loudly against this!!
-
She doesnt know yet why she is against it. Give her a little time to consult few blogs and she will have an answer
She is for whatever Obama is for. She was against Exectutive Orders when Obama was mouthing off in the 2008 Campaign about he detested George Bush for using Executive Orders, but now she is for Executive Orders since it is King Obama who is using them to push a treasonous agenda!!

It would be a bigger game for Texas than it would for A&M.
You are so predictable!!
