LC_throwback reacted to Indians4life in Haynes no longer HFC at Hardin
He has won at Hardin which a tons of coaches can’t do!!! His resume doesn’t lie, they go 1-9 Haynes makes playoffs 2007-2008, then they were what 2-8 then Haynes comes and takes over they make the playoff again. Seems to me the board and sup don’t see eye to eye. This will be the 8th year serving as AD/Head Football Coach at Hardin High School. Coach Haynes has lead the Hornets to it's only 3 championships in 75 years. 2 Bi-District Championships (2007-08) and 1 District Championship as the QB of the 1974 team. Coach Haynes has won more games than any other coach in it's 75 year storied history. Coach Haynes will begin his 37th year in the coaching profession and his 25th as a Head Coach. He has a Head Coaching record of 161 wins and 104 losses - 3 Ties, 5 District Championships, and 8 Area Finalists. He has also been "Coach of the Year" 10 times and was also chosen as a "NFL High School Coach of the Year Award Nominee" in 2003, the highest award a High School coach can receive.
Hardin in 2006, 2-8, Haynes takes over they go 9-3 the next year.
2016 Hardin 0-10, 2017-Haynes takes over they go 4-6 and then 2018 7-4.

Haynes has done nothing shady, so let me give you a little history. This is all coming from School Board President who wanted his son to start at QB and since he didn't start, he has made it his mission to get rid of Haynes and the Superintendent is nothing but his puppet.

To the comment of getting ran out of town, he is gone because you have a Superintendent that is a micro-managing “re-tread” to use your term and thinks he knows everything And he knows nothing. He was intimidated by Coach Haynes from day one because of the respect that Coach Haynes had from the community, faculty and players. This glory grabbing Super couldn’t stand it. I wish the people of Hardin knew how disliked this guy is. Heck, he was asked to leave Sweeney ISD because he got them in the middle of a lawsuit because he terminated an employee with a disability. Do your homework!
Plus look at Coach Pavliska, went to the playoffs 10 out of 16 years as the head baseball coach. This same Superintendent stayed in his dugout every single game thinking he knew more than Coach Pav. He made a fool of himself arguing from the dugout with the Umpire. It was totally embarrassing, how many Superintendents do you see doing that.
The community of Hardin needs to wake up and see who they have running their school district. And please don’t compare Ned Barrier with Coach Haynes!!!! Barriers record is 18-25 and do any of you know why he left Candy Creek? Now that’s the story.

Wow, talking about misinformation. Hardin went out on Spring break the week of March 9th and no one has been back since. I know for a fact that Coach Haynes and Coach Firman created virtual workouts to send to all the athletes and to allow athletes to post their workouts for all to see. Someone is grasping at straws. Those are the facts and they are indisputable.

That’s as much or more on the defense as the team holding it. You want the ball? Get out of that zone and pressure the basketball. I’ve only see the video of the last possession but it looked like WOS was sitting in a 2-3 and Lumberton waited until 20 seconds or so on the clock and went to a spread-swing and found a shooter open in the weak side corner with a tick or two left. And he obviously knocked it down.

I ageee 100%. If a team is holding it - go out and guard then. Can go man or a trapping 1/2 court zone.

That’s why he said our version. Doesn’t take 15,000 fans to make a rivalry a great game lasti checked. You’d be surprised at some of the small town matches around the state that rival mid county madness.
