Still doesn’t change the fact you ain’t never played a sport in your life & ain’t qualified to speak on this game. You telling me I’m wrong about a sport you never played or coached imagine that.
Thanks for proving that you’re just an old arse fool who on a message board talking about a game/person he knows nothing about. 🤷🏽♂️
Dude get over it!! PNG won and FBM loss. PNG was the better team and was better coached. It really doesn't matter what you think anymore. I would say maybe FBM will see PNG in the playoffs again like last year, but FBM don't have that team and PNG does.

PNG 53
GCM 42
PNG heads to the playoffs for only the 3rd time in girls basketball. It will be short lived, but a great accomplishment for a scrappy group of young ladies.

Hey I get it, but I've known this guy for a very long time and he's a cool cat for sure which makes me baffled at this situation. You only know him based off this incident. I'll come up with my own verdict in due time but seems like there's a culture problem that might extend past this issue. We have our own issues in PA but PNG isn't as squeaky clean as they make things out to be. Kind of interesting if it's true that so many players are quitting right before the biggest game of the season.
Coach85 is 100% correct on his/her take of the incident. It is very sad that a father would embarrass his daughter this way. Both husbands for the JV & Varsity coaches did what any other husband would of done in defending their wives and family. What is really sad is this was the first time I even seen that particular students family at any of the games she chose to show up at. So IMO he was looking for trouble and he found it. The 2023 PNG girls team was made up of 5 Sr, 2 jr, 3 soph, and 4 fresh. After this incident PNG now has 2/3 sr, 2 jr (one is out due to injury's), 3 soph, and 4 fresh. To make the playoffs for a school not known for basketball is a great accomplishment. So good luck to all the girls this Friday that decided to not be a quitter! PNG definitely has something to grow on.

PNG had a extremely great year. Especially having a new coaching staff and also a new system to learn. To be able to advance to the championship game was an outstanding accomplishment. Year in and year out, it will always be difficult for high schools similar to PNG to make deep runs in playoffs much less win it all. Competing against all the schools with open enrollment will be a steep hill to climb. Congrats to the football players as well as all the other student activities around this team. Coaches, continue the positive attitude you have shared with these young men. PNG football is back and I see a lot of bright futures ahead.

Them receivers from SOC are really good.

PNG coaches have always made great adjustments after half this entire playoffs. Hopefully tonight will be no different.

Getting crowded!!

With district just starting, PNG is definitely not a top team. LOL New Coach has them running in all kinds of directions on the court.

Team should have left for the hotel by now? I'm assuming there's gonna be a purple caravan dominating I-10 between today and tomorrow morning.
Team and all other student activities leave in the morning. Pep-Rally is at 2:30 today.

Liberty Hill leads Flour Bliff 56-35. If that score holds, we will get PNG vs Liberty Hill which is an interesting matchup.
Oh I guess we will lose this one too.🙄🙄

PNG has had a fantastic season, however I doubt if they score more than 14 and Marshall at least 28 maybe more like 42
was a super season though. 11-3 very nice
I take it your team is no longer in playoff contention. 🤓🤓

Marshall shut down a Lake Creek team that was scoring 70-80 points on almost every opponent.
They also smoked PNG earlier in the season by 3 TDs. This won't be any different imo.
🤣🤣this is funny stuff right here. Yes FBM has the better athletes at most skill positions on the field. So of course they should be favored to win. This is playoff time and what happen during the season can be thrown out the window. If I remember correctly this smoked PNG team gave FBM 14 points in the first 5 minutes of the game due to mistakes. Mistakes we tend to not make anymore. So yes, PNG has a great shot at winning this game. Like others have posted in this thread. It will come down to turnovers imo.
How FBM lose to Crosby? 🤔🤔

Under Faircloth, we would lose this game no doubt. Heck we would have lost in round 2 this season. Our current coaching staff and the way these young men play under them, every week PNG has a chance to win. Playing FBM early in the season will help our team and coaches a lot. Good luck NDN’s!!

Who will take the mound for Game 2 Friday?
Heard it might be the Freshman lefty for Ned. Not sure of his name.

Good Gosh!! Does either team have any pitching? Or just first game rust?

PNG is to well coach and very balanced on offense. Unlike the Faircloth years, Coach Joseph likes defense, because defense wins games. Proof is in the pudding!! MCM is always fun to attend.
