For the second straight year, I'm having to switch back and forth between the Super Bowl and the Phoenix Open golf tournament because the golf tourney went into a playoff. (They're currently playing the 3rd extra hole.)

I agree with that. Lets hope it happens and we see chaos. 3 Big Ten teams in the playoff will get us an 8 team playoff sooner rather than later.
Yes!!! And if the playoff expands to 8 teams, they should make it to where the playoff spots go to the conference champions of the Power Five conferences and the highest-ranked champion from one of the "Group of Five" conferences, with two at-large bids. Seeding would be determined by CFP rankings with the first round games held on campus venues at the home of the higher seed. The winners would go to the national semifinal bowls, while the losers would play in one of the four remaining New Year Six bowls.

Are you aware that Castro installed nuclear missiles and brought us to as close to nuclear war as at any time in world history?
Castro has not been avoided by every president since Eisenhower because he is a communist or ruthless. We routinely deal with such people but not ones that are 50 miles away and almost brought the world to destruction.
It isn't like LBJ, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton as Democratic presidents loved to deal with Castro and then Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Bush were against it because of politics. All presidents for almost 60 years has kept away from Castro and it was one of the rare cases where almost everyone agreed .... until the apologist in chief came along.
Nah.... probably not.
I think that Obama contacting Castro was a good thing, as it has encouraged the Cuban government to consider legalizing small to medium-sized private businesses.

I would have to read a little more about him. But according to the article you posted, he sounds okay to me. He's not a Washington D.C. insider and is not a career politician. I don't adhere to the Liberal position that Wall Street represents the devil.
Why do you think Mnuchin is part of "the swamp"?
If you want to get corruption out of government, you don't hire lobbyists and banksters to government positions.
Mnuchin is a guy who made his money by foreclosing the houses of old people, some over as little as 27 cents. Heck, some of the people who Mnuchin foreclosed upon are Trump supporters themselves.

How is Mnuchin considered part of "the swamp"? Liberals are the ones railing against Wall Street (while taking their fat donations). I don't remember Trump or frankly anyone in the GOP demonizing Wall Street as the enemy. That is the domain of the Liberals. And according to the article, Mnuchin worked for Soros then left him. And he is not a Washington D.C. insider and has no political experience. So again, how is Mnuchin considered part of the "the swamp"? Sounds like an awful lot of failed Liberal spin...which is par for the course.
Okay, so if Hillary picked Mnuchin for Treasury Secretary, you would've been totally cool with it, correct?

What has to happen for them to go D1
Livingston must get the final playoff spot with a win over Ozen, a PNG win over Nederland, and a Central loss to Baytown Lee.

Not sure one way or the other. One thing to remember, given that some 10-4A teams have objected to Abe Martin as a venue, the procedures used over the last few years over who played when may be tossed out the window. Are they for sure, I don't know, that is just my speculation.
So I'm guessing that some of those games could be played at Bowers Stadium in Huntsville or Homer Bryce in Nac, especially since Sam Houston State and SFA are both on the road that weekend. (SHSU @ Northwestern State, SFA @ HBU)
