  1. Nederland is young - Do you think this is why they only put 1 goal on the board?
  2. I agree (until your last sentence). I'm betting he has already hitched himself to the "my way or the highway wagon".
  3. 100 to 0 ? ? Not running up the score ? OK whatever, but that is not why he was fired--- Over the weekend he developed "Mouth Diahreah" -- (he had suurvived the 100-0 score) - But his attitude afterward sealed his fate.. okay, if my team is far superior than yours, what am I to do? Just pass the ball around? If the team is that bad, maybe they should disband the team or go play in a "Y" rec league. I am not saying he did or did not intentionally run up the score or if he could've should've held his team back. Like I said runnng uo the score is NOT why he was fired.

  6. I would say there are probably 50 times more active PNG forum members than PAISD members. Makes sense that there is not as much interest in the PA job as the PNG. Hopefully no silly stall game from PAISD. They should produce a list within the number of days after the FOI request is filed. No Attorney General Ruling is necessary.
  7. The President of the school board has 1 vote - He / She is not just a tie breaker. (Sometimes the Mayor of a city votes only to break a tie, but this is school district - not a city)
  8. I hope you are at least correct about the "prizes and stuff". I plan on bringin a van or something to haul them off. 8)

  10. I second that emotion. And as far as respect, lets move our thread up a few notches. (I believe there are more that 10 posters) so lets make like the Jeffersons and move it on up.
  11. Who is Horn's Coach? Is it only boys or is there a girl's team also?
  12. Hoop Insider Basketball Forum has moved to the top over "football". How about moving soccer up. Season has started. (Go Dogs)
  13. Euless Trinity football player disciplined for hit on official 08:29 AM CST on Saturday, December 20, 2008 By KEITH WHITMIRE / The Dallas Morning News [email protected] A Euless Trinity football player has been disciplined for intentionally running over a game official during a playoff game two weeks ago. "We did conduct an investigation, and he is being disciplined according to the student code of conduct," said Judy Ramos, director of communications for the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD. Ramos declined to name the player, but Internet video of the hit shows the player wearing No. 47, which is listed on the Trinity roster as senior linebacker Elikena Fieilo. Fieilo, a second-team all-state linebacker, was the defensive MVP in Trinity's 2007 Class 5A Division I title game win over Converse Judson. The University Interscholastic League is also investigating the incident and could levy additional sanctions. Trinity football coach Steve Lineweaver directed inquiries to Ramos. The video, taken from two angles, is from the late stages of Allen's 34-21 win over Trinity in the Class 5A Division I Region I final Dec. 6 at Texas Stadium. At the snap of the ball, the Trinity linebacker immediately runs to his right and knocks umpire Robert Rosales to the ground, even though Allen is running a play to the linebacker's left. Ramos said the student has mailed a formal letter of apology to the official. She declined to say what the punishment was. "He's very remorseful," Ramos said. The game was officiated by members of the Houston chapter of the Texas Association of Sports Officials. Tommy Moore, the chapter's executive secretary, and other officials said they do not believe Rosales intends to pursue legal action. Rosales could not be reached for comment. Moore said he doubts Rosales realized it was anything but incidental contact until he saw the game video. "It's common for an official to get run into sometimes because there's a lot of action out there," Moore said. "But I've never seen anything like this video."
  14. Cowboy, dav-j must not be from Beaumont or just hates that the Jags went farther then his team who ever they are. Sorry, but you're wrong on both - From Beaumont - Still live in Beaumont - and am no hater. Just scrathing my head over the headline on a very close call. It's not a blatant bad call if you have to rewind in Slo-Mo and still flip flop. - Come on - Geesh!!! I felt it made Stowers look a little petty and a great coach, that has done such a tremendous job, does not deserve this. I feel it was more the reporter and fans who were looking to find fault. I don't feel this was front page material. That's all. jmo Besides - be happy - It just snowed. Go make a snowman. who wouldn't be pissed over the call...but Stowers is entitled to his opinion on the matter and it seems like people still want to talk about it...it's good! Stay away from the yellow snow...it ain't lemon ice! Good advice ;D

  16. Fumble or not it was a VERY close call. Did this really warrant Front Page Headlines ? ?
  17. Very poor article - somebody had her ear - Funny the only name mentioned was Nederland. Shows a little negative bias on her part.

  19. And you could go to sfa's website........oops, nevermind Alot of you posers are very lucky I'm not a Moderator. Otherwise, y'all would have your own section: The MC Crying Game---oops I mean Crying Room.... Some people want to throw a wet blanket on "MC". What you are really exposing is your internal struggles. No need to read a Nederland thread if you only hold animosity towards MC's. Stay in your bitter, small world and continue to have your gut eaten out from the inside.
