In an 8 team district - how many 1st Team and 2nd Team players should be named? Should there be Honorable Mention? How many total? Do you feel that naming 50 to 60 players to an "elite squad" is little overboard? Add what you like --- (Go Dynamo -- I'll be there Saturday Night)

I could be wrong, but I've been on this earth for half a century and there is someting MUCH deeper than a little "good sport" here. MC is "code for w----. He has problems with them. He was very concerned with the PNG kid and I commend that. ( I really hoped, after that young boy got hurt, he would realize we are all basically the same). But then he went on a vengeful attack of Micah Mosely. No sir Mr. soulja ---- that was NOT "good sport" - no way.

Go back to the beginning of this thread and then read any post patitan has written about any team that resembles an M.C. It appears that this guy is a hater of a group people based on their appearance. I would not want to be greeted at a Galveston emergency room by such a person who admits he hates M.C.'s due to past injustices. I believe a hater like that is eaten up with anomosity and it has no place in this world.

Lumberton appears too hungry, and the dogs are pretty beat up. Dayton exposed Ned's weaknesses and it is my opinion Lumberton has the coaching over the vastly overrated Bulldog coaches. Look for Lumberton to win and WIN BIG. The final score will be by 28 points or more.

Quality of football? whatever. I want to know if there is some sort of mercy rule in Kansas. 11 points in the next 3 qtrs? Maybe 2 safeties and a touchdown and point after? ? ? There's gotta be a mercy rule.

Exactly -- It is not just soccer -- thats just the thread I'm on and I'm much more familiar with soccer. I think it is watered down in other sports also and it is not an elite honor when the majority of starters will be all district. 53%? ? Come on. Also several players that truly deserve to be All District would question the worthiness of 10th player on the Lumberton Squad making All District. Yes it is very "non-elite". Just call it 4A Honorable mentions and name everybody that you can remember.

Thanks - 10 teams. That is still over half making All District - Doesn't sound like an "elite squad" to me. Why not a first and second team of 11 players each? I don't understand the philosophy of 26 players on first team and an additional 26 players on 2nd.

Looking at last years all district picks (see link below) and was amazed that 59 players were named.... Seems extremely watered down. What happened to 11 first team and 11 second team???? [Hidden Content]

Thanks for finally clarifying this. Until reading your post I thought that Mr. Thomas was the only player that suited up for the Bucs. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how the he-- he snapped the ball to himself. Thanks...
