I just hope the team comes back together as they seem very divided and frazzled right now. Good luck Horns.

Defensively my vote is for the entire WOS defense, pitching yet another shut out against my Horns. This unit has only given up 20 points total over the last 5 games against some quality opponents.
-
The Horns need this win and need to get something going offensively. I think Big O gets back on track this week.

I think HJ might beat HF, Buna, and OF.
I think they are in the hunt. Going to be some good games!!!
Yep, the big bros of 21-3A better not get caught sleeping cuz the little bros are playing some ball this year.
Who's leading the district race, anyway? Oh, that's right - there hasn't been any district games yet.
District games start this week. -

I guess that this was not the blow out that everybody was predicting for EC. Way to go Hawks.
Yep I did not see this one coming. Serve me up some Crow as I predicted a blow out.
Good job Hawks, I guess HJ is a team 21-3A needs to watch our for now. -
The HORNS finally put together 4 Qtrs of mistake free FB and shock the known world.

OK Randy Zipcode (aka super slueth), you've made a public accusation aimed at your nieghbors to the west. I'm sure you will come back and appolgize if you find out that it was someone else.
And how exactly do you ruin a cow pasture?

This depends on how many TDs Roberts wants to score !
EC 49
HJ 14
That's no joke, the young man is a that good. He is a threat too take it to the house every time he touches the ball.
I say EC takes this one in a blow out, #27, #44 & #55 and the rest of the Bucs will be too much for them to handle.

Can someone from ec tell me why ec could not play a fres game last night? It looks like y'all had enough on the jv.
2A ball typically does not have Freshman teams, so few opponents would be available thru the year. Keep in mind the size difference between H-F and EC.
I don't blame them, I wouldn't want to play our freshman either, "them boys be ballers". 8) :D
From the looks of Friday night's score, maybe ya'll should have moved the "ballers" up to play on the varsity!!!!!!!
In time my friend, in time. Remember slow and steady wins the race, Coach Harris will turn the reigns loose when he feels they are ready. ;) -

Offense
East Chambers RB Glenn Roberts
21 carries, 353 yards, 4 TD's
No way that Glenn does not win it this week, what an awesome performance. I have seen my share of HS FB football games and I tell you with out a doubt he is the best running back that I have seen in person. IMHO, I do not care who he
plays against Glenn Roberts will still have great stats regardles of the outcome. This young man is a truly amazing talent and well deserving of All State Honors. -
Yep, the Horns have some kinks to work out but I beleive they can take the Panthers.
HF - 28
LIB - 21 -
All I can say is WOW, what in the heck are yall feeding them boys in ECC, is there a Power Plant near by that I do not about? Ha Ha LMAO. All kidding aside #27, #44 & #55 should be DIV 1 recruits. As for the rest of the EC team they were good as well, the Team as a whole was the better team IMHO that night. The Bucs tackled really well, especially their secondary. There were at least 2-3 runs that Jordan Brown could have taken to the house had the Bucs not gotten good open field tackles. I do not know if any one else noticed it, #27 was a pretty dang good defender as well. I saw him lay the lumber a couple of times in the secondary. I think we can all agree that both teams and the officiating crew pretty much stunk up the field the first half with all of the penalties and game delays. The 2nd half was much more entertaining except for the part of HF losing. I think we can also agree that HF was able to move the ball pretty much at will and had they not committed so many turnovers & penalties the score should have not been so lop sided. I am proud of the HF boys they battled until the bitter end and never gave up. The EC coach was a class act he had time to put up another TD in the last minute of the game and decided to take a knee instead. Hats off to the EC fans you guys have a real good team to root for, I look for them to go 10-0. I would like to give a shout out to all of the HF fans especially Randy Alavarez, we finally brought some school spirit to a game that I have not seen in a long time. This was a hard hitting game and I am sure there are boys on both sides that are injured and in allot of pain. God speed on your recoveries. Good Luck to both squads this week. Hook' Em Horns :)

Man, its about time to que up Kenny Chesney and "THE BOYS OF FALL". Wow the HF fan base is energized like I have not seen in a long time, I hope Big MO carries thru the season. I can feel the BF's starting to churn for this much anticipated match up.
Should be a hard hitting, entertaining game for the fans tonight. Good Luck Horns. 8) :P -

get story straight because if our freshman would have joined our JV it would have been a different turn out!!!
Really? You are saying your Freshman are better than your JV? And your H-F Freshman would have beat the EC JV? Oh COME ON! :o
If you take the best non-varsity talent and make one team like EC does then yes, HF would have won. I was with some friends from EC tonight and they told me EC has a freshman team. not sure if that is true or not, but if it is. Why did they not play the HF freshman? and the the sophomores play each other? I counted 49 kids on the EC team.
I don't know why but you put both your teams together and EC still wins. EC had 4 freshman starters on the sideline that would have made a bigger difference. If this and if that. EC won deal with it.
Wow I can hardly wait until tonight, Rice Bowl 2012 is reaching a "Fever Pitch". I do not even play and I have Butterflies in my stomach. There is going to be some good old fashioned smash mouth football going on in Winnie tonight. Should be an entertaining game. I wish everyone luck and God Bless. HOOK'EM HORNS ;D
