Who cares. This is getting so old. Time will tell and thats a fact. Wondering why this thread hasn't been deleted like the last one. It is the same stuff.

you can thank vitale for the threads getting out of hand. History tends to repeat itself

Recruiting is not what makes you ineligeble. Moving for an athletic purpose would. Moving to play for Coach Boutte would be a violation lf rules. I am not saying that is what is occurring however if that were the case that would be against the rules.
-
In my opinion they will look closely at transfers there that are for athletic purposes because just what you have said. Who wouldn't want to play for a hall of fame coach. And yes I believe if other coaches in Coach Sutherlands district thought there was a kid that moved there just to play for him they would speak up and an invesigation would occur.

Also just to add this newsflash to the topic, these kids that are getting transferred because mom and/or dad are not happy with the role the coach is giving them are more than likely NOT going to be happy with the role they get at the school they transfer to either.
These kids usually tend to follow a pattern leave little league or little dribblers because it is not all about their kid, transfer from one AAU team to another because it is not all about their kid, then they go bouncing from one high school to another only to find out once again it is not all about their kid. The insanity usually stops after that because no college coach is going to put up with the BS of a parent trying to tell them how to do their job and the kid ends up not playing anywhere despite how talented they are
I will lay you odds those that have seen it will vouch for this statement as 100% accurate
110% correct!

DV I think you are misinterpreting what some are saying. Let the kid go. No one owns him. However, there are rules that sometime cause consequences that not you or anyone else decides. The district committee has the right to look at EVERY transfer and with Boutte coming in to the district I can assure the coaches in that district are going to their super intendents who sit on the district committee to watch all of these very closely. They are not going to sit back and watch kids transfer in to play for Boutte just because they want to play for him. They want to win too.

Boutte will have an effect no doubt in Beaumont.

Going to Silsbee is not a good move for Lil C...if he was going to a program like WOS then cool here's the thing lets look at the history of Silsbee I think Hudson was the first D-1 football player from Silsbee in I'm not sure how long....we don't even have to do a comparing between Ozen and Silsbee on players going to college now do we? Any current players hold offers currently? Scouts will always come through Beaumont history speaks for itself. As I've said before not only leaving to go to a smaller classification but going play for a coach you know nothing about...what if the coach decides to throw the ball 50x a game? And please stop saying he's going for the academics the kid has like a 3.5 GPA he excels in the classroom. I'm going to support him either way but IMO it's not a good move. And for those of you saying Lil C is going to Silsbee sharing carries PUHLEASE!
Jeremy Johnson and William Morrisy both had plenty of scouts going through silsbee prior to hudson and hudson brought them all. If he is that talented the scouts won't miss him wherever he is.

I thought they would hire Mackey!

No shady play! Kid deserves to take advantage of the new school program. Tyler is originally from Silsbee just like Jones and Bush. Ozen has teachers that beat students and I would transfer too.
c is not from silsbee....he went to hj k-5th before moving to beaumont

I don't know. This kid is the real deal. I'll be surprised if he doesn't play at the next level.
I hear the younger McCain will be competing for QB spot next year.

This is going on. Period.

Where my oldest son played HS ball. They did the same thing in off-season and summer workouts. (Not a big deal)
It is breaking a rule that matters very much to the UIL. Trust me.

He takes attendance of those who show up and marks points for the kids showing up to workouts and other sports games (baseball, soccer, etc...) . He also gives points for kids who he sees working hard, which he determines.. He then adds up the points and ranks kids in their groups on who is working the hardest.
I wonder if the new coach knows it is against UIL rules to take attendance and offer incentives for workouts outside of school hours?
Interesting. One of UIL's biggest no no's!!!!

The moment was unbelievably breathtaking and scary. Silsbee made an unreal run in what I would cosider one of the best high school basketball games I have ever seen.
-
Was moving fingers on way to hospital.
-
They coule have had 3 blinde referees and would have won by whatever they wanted to.
-
I thought the refs did a fine job in the Big Sandy game until the 4th quarter and it got pretty bad
The refs missed a ball being tipped by muenster on a 3 point attempt by big sandy. Gave muenster the ball and IMHO the momentum. Hated seeing big sandy lose. Can't wait to see these next two games and hoping Silsbee makes it to the final. Pretty confident they will.
-
I would favor muenster over either of these teams.
-
I watched both games in person. Eye test doesn't always have equal a victory but Grady looks to be the better team IMO.
-
I think Grady beats Avinger Saturday.
