Don’t get me started on the old taxpayers who have no kids in school and could careless about the conditions of the schools and field......as they sit in their 300K home that’s been paid for and enjoy thier huge pension from the plant they retired from. Yes we can afford it with ease, irritates the crap out of me. I’d understand somewhat kinda if Nederland was a constant losing team but that isn’t the case. Anyway rant over. Nederland by 14

Port Neches-Groves 38 Vidor 32/FINALBulldogpower replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Football I mentioned earlier in the week that this offense is old hat to those who have played it for years. Unlike Crosby who hadn’t. So Vidor will have to play extra hard and be extra careful on penalties

Due to the minimal interaction with BH and Nederland I don’t think I anyone has a clear picture. I honestly for the first time have no idea how this one will turn out.

Greatest Players in Southeast TexasBulldogpower replied to LEEROY Jenkinss's topic in High School Football Colton Kimler made his presence known in a subtle way, maybe not in the elite category but Ned couldn’t have had its game district/ playoff runs without him.

Louisiana ball can’t hold a candle to Texas. Facts, you forget Texas stretches far and wide, most states bring their best and want a unranked Texas average team and IF they win which usually in OT by a FG, they act like they took the state, wanna bring a big city like NOLA to one of ours? Oh they did, Edna Karr got slaughtered by Arlington.

For sure, how easy we forget. Dude was a boss

If RJ doesn’t play all of Vidor will know it. I’ll never forget my senior year at Nederland Kirby Bellow had gotten injured and he was a great QB, he was one of the best we had had up to that point,he was questionable to play and he sat out vs Vidor, Jeff Matthews called his starting QB then (Nick D) screaming how happy he was that Bellow wasn’t starting. I thought it sad and funny at the same time (another thought for another time) so if RJ is out for whatever reason they will be on cloud nine.

So this is a team use to Vidors offense, it’s old hat and not a shocker to PNG, that being said without RJ it’ll be tough, no cakewalk here. Vidor is stronger that it was last year (small shades of the 2011 team) with RJ I say PNG wins it. He will have to play all four quarters though.

Could anyone in Southeast Texas beat Newton?Bulldogpower replied to EBrill12's topic in High School Football Not denying they get better with time but they wouldn’t survive newton, not now. Probably to much politics involved anyway still for United. I think Ned, PNG and Vidor have a better shot at beating newton than untied. But just my opinion, stranger things have happened.

This mid county friend will be following this game intently. I don’t expect Santa Fe to be to much trouble so I’ll be checking this game throughout the night

I actually enjoyed 2011 from a Bulldog standpoint so I’m saying the opposite lol

This is when I say Vidor is one of those weird schools, let me explain: When they play Ned or PNG 99% of the time it’s a W for the mid county schools. Why? Cause the offense Vidor runs is old hat, usually when it’s a Vidor W it’s by a FG or a beat up injured team and maybe by a TD. Simply put this area knows the Vidor slot T, however, would I write of Vidors slot T against a school that isn’t use to it? No. While I think Vidor can beat Crosby but lose to Ned or PNG is what I mean by a “weird school” I don’t think Crosby just walks off with this W easily. Of course field conditions will affect both teams. A wet field will make fumbles a nightmare for team that runs 99% of the time so Vidor will have to secure the ball. I think it’ll be a close game, don’t write off the Vidor offense unless you’ve played against it a lot. It’s different, but I thinks Crosby will overcome with a W but in a nail bitter. Just my opinion.

I don’t think anyone is holding silsbee to its 0-3 start. It’s not like it was a cupcake schedule, two 5A schools and a newton team that’s better than it was last year. They will smother BC
-
This isn’t the WOS of 2015, if it was I’d have WOS in the W section, but I think Crosby may pull the upper hand. Idk though you never know with cornel, a simple adjustment can mean big changes

Vidor at lcm....... predictions....Bulldogpower replied to Mytwocents3788's topic in High School Football I don’t think much speculation here. Vidor drops at least 40 points. LCM won’t be held scoreless but I don’t think they have the firepower to handle the offense for four quarters
