I have a set of twin nephews, one was all district in football / basketball, regional track qualifier, plays college football now. The other was like Kevin. (good kid hard worker, non complainer) He hit a shot like that on Senior night. To me that was the best night of sports ever in our family history.

Earl was a PRO with a lot of baggage, so he didn't last. Next time you talk to Coach ask what he thinks Earl would have done IF he came from the same family structure as Steve.
-
Coach told me Earl (HS All American; #2 ranked college recruit behind Moses Malone went to USC /UNLV was the most unstoppable force he had ever seen and you throw in Keller, Eli, Trahan, Dennis and the role players I don't see Steve's team beating them jmo. But I'll pick Coach brain next time I talk to him.

I'm out of here, you are inviting an argument.

They need to change their name to Bmt Harmony Science and Communication Academy. A good Communications program seems to draw good athletes from all over.
-
From what I've been reading he's been having a pretty good year.

Everybody that remained in 24-2A won. Westbrook got messed over, from a travel perspective. Bob Hope went from the frying pan into the fire and Bmt Harmony Science well I guess you had to put them somewhere.

Being in Quality Assurance tells me logically that to go from 0-20% in error rate or decreased efficiency ,output or production is a problem. To go from a 100% to 80% capability IS a problem. The flyers being taken are because out of the thousands of college players you can't find 60 a year in the US who can make an NBA roster. So they draft and stash players hedging a bet that in 2-3 years the Euro player will be better than some college kid getting bad advice about his draft status and NBA chances.
-
In the last 5 NBA drafts 91 of the 300 or 30% of the picks were foreigners, approximately 20% of the leagues players are foreigners there is something wrong somewhere. Irregardless of where the disconnect is between what the league is looking for and what the US basketball is putting out there is a problem.

I mentioned this in a post about 2 weeks ago about the lack of defense played and lack of overall basketball intelligence most kids have, and some folks on here who consider themselves a basketball guru tried to argue me down. There is a reason you have an increase in the number of international players in the NBA and it's not because of a lack of American kids participation in basketball.

Memorial is gonna be just fine. Nederland is a good basketball team and their second best player is from....Port Arthur. Kelly has another two that could and should be playing for us. This group of sophomores is gonna be good. No shame in the results so far this year. Coleman is not another Boutte or Gamble, but he's a solid coach and we got some good young coaches on staff too. You'll see.
Thats what I'm saying; Memorial has talent, on the court and walking the hallways. There has been talent that has walked out the door, but I believe given a chance Coleman and his staff might surprise some people and manage to keep all the talent in PA.
Nederland?

Jaylon was unanimously voted MVP in his teams league. Team headed to the playoffs. Not bad for a kid (that's average at best)
